JustGuy Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Hi. I modded 2K16 as much as i could. Installed few wrestlers, replaced 1, changed renders etc. Thanks to CCT and DE of course. Fucking superheroes . I have some questions and i want to know if there is something new / different with 2K17 modding. 1. Can we change modded (added) wrestler renders? Not a big deal, since i can always replace default wrestlers. Just curious. 2. If i download 2 attire mods for Taker, from different authors, but both use same attire slot. Slot 2 - for example. If i change (rename) ID number of pac and pach (or what was the name of files inside main chpacs?) files to different ID number. Attire 2 - 10312 (?) will be 10322 (attire 3?) and attire 2 from another author will be 10332 (attire 4). Will it work that way? There are many mods and many of them are good, but i wish to combine mods from different authors. I know that this trick works with replaced or added wrestlers. I used Alberto Del Rio attires from mod, in 2K16, with different number than the one in Pofo / Moveset thread. It worked. 3. What is the status of face animation mods, if not a secret? 4. Can some of you, people, use nexusmods or other good site for mod uploads? It is good site, since it has different categories for mods, pictures and other important tabs. Easy to use. Also donation button. When i downloaded mods, i ran into a quite popular problem - Links are dead. Both, screenshots and download links. 5. 2K15 and 2K16 entrances work in 2K17? They worked in previous game. Not sure if file format was changed. Quote
No One Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 1. you can not change modded wrestler renders as of now. maybe someone will figure it out. 2. it does work 3. @tekken57's x-rey i beleve has it, but you have to pay for it 4. the modders here like it here and i dont think that a move is going to happen anytime soon. if you want something like the nexusmod downloader, i suggest that you use @Pozzum's WWE2k17+ 5. if i remember right, some of them work not all. 1 Quote
JustGuy Posted May 30, 2017 Author Posted May 30, 2017 Ok. Thanks. I don`t want any "downloader". I mean that the site is good, if not the best, for mod uploads. You can easily find (unless modder used wrong tags and or category) any mod, unlike here, where some mods are abandoned. it's sad. Quote
AznBlusuazn Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 This is the best place for WWE 2K mods in my opinion. All my mods are exclusive to WWE 2K17+ - it supports the community and keeps everyone honest. 1 Quote

They are amazing., You see, some modders upload mods for plebeians like me, so we can enjoy them without dealing with things that i mentioned. Since many of them spend lots of time to make such mods, it is very bad decision to upload mods on random websites. Nexusmods is best alternative for "Honest" modders, where mods will remain forever. True. Here is my thought. 2k17+ is essentially a password protected repository as well. I have a tier for donators and public mods, like several others. 90% of my mods are request from the plebeians. I just don't want to have to maintain a password for each archive and also don't want to have to respond to a flood of inbox requests for a password for each mod I make. 2k17+ is a single place where everything is. You don't have to use the other features, you can strict download mods and the app cuts down on help questions as well, because it can set the slot and inject it for you, pofo and moveset included. I have nothing against Nexus mods - I've used that site for Skyrim mods years ago until Steam mod integration for that game started. Personally, as a modder, it's easier for me to have my creations in 2k17+ and as a gamer, it's easier to go into the "file explorer" style listing to easily locate what I want and download it, set the slot #, and have it injected straight into the game.
