bhman79 Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 My apologies if this is listed in help somewhere already. I've tried installing Hollywood Hogan and Honkytonk Man. I've copied their pac files and installed pofo using Data Editor and CC. After trying several times with several game restarts they don't show up in the game. Is there a step I'm missing? Thanks! J N Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Hey - another noob here but maybe I can help? What worked for me was following this tutorial: It differs from your method however in that in utilizes Cheat Engine to inject the mods instead of Data editor/CCT. I've found Cheat Engine to be, while not the most aesthetically pleasing, the most effective and easiest way to install mods. I think what may be happening in your case is that you are not running the game when you install the mods. I don't think they will show unless you are running the actual game at the time of installation. Here is the fool proof method: 1. copy the ch.pac files to the pac/ch folder 2. Start up 2k17 and navigate to the main menu section (past the 'press any button to begin' screen) 3. Enter Window'd mode (if not already) and minimize the game 4. Open Cheat Engine - select the computer icon at the top left (detailed instructions in the above video) 5. Select wwe2k17.exe from list - open 6. Select "memory view" - up will pop a dialogue box where you input your POFO file with the corresponding value to the ch.pac you earlier copied and pasted (Referencing Pozzum's 2k17 memory sheet) - again more detailed instructions in the video. I don't know the technical lingo too well but theres something about strings and locations but whatever, you don't need to be a technical wizard to install) 7. Repeat for .moveset using the same process 8. Done with Cheat Engine 9. Return to WWE2k17 - go to edit superstar - change any character boo/cheer and save to save your modification 10. Voila! Character should be installed in the game This worked for me, and I hope it works for you too! Any further questions that I'm capable of answering, I will be happy to. Best of luck! 1 Quote
bhman79 Posted March 20, 2017 Author Posted March 20, 2017 Awesome, thanks for the response!!! I was trying to inject while the game was on the very first menu instead of going on to the next screen. Thanks Again! Quote
