J N Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 Hi there, Newbie question: In attempting to add certain MODs, I have messed with some aspects of the game that I did not intend. For example, I successfully added the Red and Yellow Hogan by @Thunder72 which turned out great (thanks!) but now I have "DUMMY FILE: ROAD TO WRESTLEMANIA" text over top of the "2016 Hall of Fame Showcase" in the menu. Not a huge deal, but a bit bothersome. Additionally, I attempted to add a Hollywood Hogan using only the POFO and Moveset file (No CH.PAC) - Rookie mistake? I now have a blank superstar at the start of my list, which if I select, will take me to the eternal loading screen of death. How can I delete this error entirely? I injected the POFO using cheat engine. Is there away to Eject, so to speak? Any info would be greatly helpful and much appreciated! Thanks! 1 Quote
BeleeDat Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 Since you know how to use cheat engine, open Pozzum's memory table, look for the "unlock" hex of the slot you added, in game open cheat engine, go to "memory", right click, go to address, paste in the unlock hex code, & change 01 01 [top left] to 00 00, make a save in game 2 Quote

Cave Waverider Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 The best way to undo modding mistakes is to backup your savegame and game directory before modding and restoring it whenever you need to. As for uninstalling superstars, you can use Custom Character Tool 2017's Superstar-Uninstaller. Also, I suspect your string issue might be because you installed the include string_win.pac from the Hogan pack which was made for an earlier version of the game. Replace it with the latest version of the Super String and it should fix your Showcase issue. 1 Quote
