conflict with new hall of fame showcase

Since this new HOFS came out today, my game now crashed on load. Is this because our game is modded game?

 

I'm now deleting everything and reinstalling my game to see if it works without the mods.

try this

delete chunk_cache.bin (or back it up)

create a notepad file and rename it to chunk_cache.bin (making sure its not got the .txt extention) and this will create a new chunk_cache.bin file.

It will take a little while for the first load if you aren't using an ssd drive but I have a feeling its replaced your cache with the default one.

I held off from adding mods except for experimenting on the odd file here and there because I feared problems with the new DLC clashing with the mods.

If it still doesn't work rather than redownloading the whole thing move your mods to safety and choose "verify integrity of game files" in Steam and it will just replace any missing/incorrect files with the default ones, it shouldn't affect your save file though.

This, but also do the same for chunk_cache2.bin - or at least that's what worked for me when I had this problem.

so I'm not seeing JJ Dillon or the AWA ring announcer, I guess they were dropped from the game.

I know it came out for console last week, but I have no idea it just came out on PC today lol. I don't know if I should buy the pack or... do something bad.
