WhereTheFdidTheEgo Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Yeah, I like the way the tools, etc are set up for these games, maybe 2k can actually make some more $ and thus put more work into future games On 3/7/2017 at 9:17 PM, TheVisitorX said: @Cave Waverider has updated the memory sheet with the new offsets. TheJStale Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Can someone supply me with an empty chunk_cache and chunk_cache2 file please? Quote
Deshmukh Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Just open the cache files in a notepad and select all that is in the notepad and save. It will work. Quote
Aguskan Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 My game crashes and already replace String win and Chunck cache Quote
TheJStale Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 I just opened HxD, clicked on new and then saved the blank files as the cache files and then I overwrote the ones in the WWE2K17 folder (after copying them and backing them up of course) and it worked like a charm My modded in Superstars are all still there and I tested Punk and Hogan R&Y out and they still work fine Quote
WhereTheFdidTheEgo Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 For what it's worth, I had two chunk files, I just moved both and replaced them with the ONE empty/new one, if anyone knows that I should have made an empty version of the 2nd one, let me know. Seems to be fine though Quote

Expand move your chunk_cache.bin files to backup. create notepad, rename it as chunk_cache.bin (no .txt on the end) and voila, a brank spanking new chunk_cache.bin file Quote
Cave Waverider Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Those that don't know how to create empty chunk_cache files can also download the updated ones in the Data Editor for WWE 2k17 thread. 1 Quote

Expand Strange, I noticed that you added the second chunk file in there, so I added it to my folder and restarted but it crashes the game, if I remove it though and just leave the first chunk_cache.bin file it works fine, just wanted to let you know, maybe it's just on my end? Expand Yeah, you might actually be on to something there, I replaced the empty chunk_cache.bin with the original Steam one(still have the chunk2 deleted) and the game started right up, it's hard to tell though for sure, sometimes it just does that 1 Quote
Deactivated Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 I deleted the second cache file just to get the game running. I can't say any problems further than that, that deleting it may have caused. Quote
