Ewan Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 It'd be awesome if anyone could tell me how to port 2K16 .pacs to 2K17 I really can't play Seth Rollins with his awful default hair... 1 Quote
kim666 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Just copy the 2k16 pac file into the 2k17 "ch" folder. You may need to edit the attire number with HxD. But the size of the 2k16 pac file must be below 80MB! 2k17 refuses to load bigger wrestler pac files. Quote
WhereTheFdidTheEgo Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Some of the bigger ones work, I have a Kurt Angle and two Benoits from 2k15 that are all over 500mb, and they work fine, I think it's a matter of certain objects crashing the game, such as hair(for example, I can use Tekken's Sabu, but only the model with the headgear, the in-ring model will crash the game) Quote

But since 2K16 every attire has its own pac file. 2K17 still loads this big 2K15 pac files, but if a attire is bigger then 80MB the game will crash. If it crashes with a size less the 80MB, then open the pach and extract 0000, 000A, 000C, 2715 and inject them into a 2k17 SHDC file. Quote

Still crashed the game, unfortunately My steps using Pac editor: 1. Extract 0000, 000A, 000C, 2715 from a 2K16 .pac 2. Open a 2K17 .pac 3. Extract the SHDC 4. Inject 0000, 000A, 000C, 2715 as zlib 5. Open the 2K17 .pac again 6. Inject the modified SHDC 7. Copy and paste it to ch folder Quote
kim666 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 I remember @Legend_killer79 had also problems with PH_Guy's mods. But he was able to fix it. I hope he can help here too. Quote
Legend_killer79 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 I've made some of them work while others are giving me some problems. Which Seth are you trying to port? Quote

Legend_killer79 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 @Ewan Great work man! You basically injected the hair and the 2580 file over to 2K17 Rollins right? Quote
