Changing entrances in 2K17

Need some assistance. I successfully have RVD in 2K17 with the help of the awesome modders on this site. His moveset is perfect.

However, his entrance and winning animation is of a Women's entrance. I download his 2K15 files (such as his entrance and winning animation), and put them in the EVT folder. For this instance, I have a PAC called 00504_RobVanDam.pac in the EVT folder.

I followed Pozzum's video WWE 2K16: Changing Entrances with Cheat Engine and saw that his linked entrance was 504 (same as the PAC file above) in Cheat Engine. I had two files in the EVT folder, one called 00504.pac and the one I copied above. Thinking there was maybe a conflict, I removed the 00504.pac and attempted to see if that fixed RVD's entrance. When I started a match, he never entered. The game basically "froze". I went back and added the 00504.pac file and RVD entered with a Women's entrance like before.

So, what do I need to do to use this 2K15 file with 2K17? Do I need to use X-Packer for anything? I checked Pozzum's WWE 2K17 files list, but 00504.pac didn't have a description.

PS. I should note that the entrance I am trying to use came from the 2K16 forum in a topic called "Simple Ported Entrances 2K15 to 2K16". I wonder if I need to alter the file for 2K17?

To add a little more.. I am able to change RVD's winning animation using his file from 2K15 Winning Animation from the 2K16 thread.

Just the entrance one isn't working

Remove the _RobVanDam. Then it'll work.

Or rename the file to an open pac and the evt folder. Then change the EVZ and EVT to the pac number you used for the pac file.

Thanks. I think I had the issue where the entrance locked up because I did rename this file while the game was running. Oops!

Your thinking did allow me to retry this the right way, and his entrance did change! However, when walks out, it's like he's walking down stairs and eventually leaves the screen, lol.

If your still having a problem. You could inject the evz into a already existing animation.

Got it working now. Copied the file again into the EVT folder, renamed it, and RVD walked normal and looks great.
