mr.mael Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 Hi. I am trying to import the backlash 2003 arena that was in 2k15 to 2k17, including the match up screens and all the other bits. At the moment Im having problems with: - Opening the BPE files and how to umcompress so I can get the .DDS files. - Trying to open the arena selection screens and inject them to wwe 2k17 - Importing Match up screens from wwe 2k15/2k17 into wwe 2k17 as I get a black screen with the wrestlers renders in the loading part. Can someone please help me with these things as I'm breaking my head on how to do these things. I have looked for tutorials and info and cant seem to find anything . I will give £15 to anyone who helps me to solve these issues. Thank you. Quote

hovathagod32 Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 you have to be careful that the arena you're replacing the matchup screen with isn't a video screen. If it's not, the only way I've gotten this to work kinda is extracting those BPE's and getting the .DDS files. Open those DDS files in Visual Studio If it's a DX10 file, which it likely will be, save each as a PNG file. Open them in Photoshop and piece them together like a puzzle so you get the whole image that'd you'd see in game. Take your image and layer it on top, then select each layer's selection of your PNG files then cut them out of your image. Save those cut outs as DX10 DDS files inside Visual Studio and reinject them back into the PACH/SHDC of that particular arena. You may lose transparency and it might not fit perfectly but it's trial and error I guess. The whole process is a pain in the ass.. It doesn't seem like you're doing anything completely wrong, it's just that sometimes it doesn't work 100% due to placement. Quote
