doinkdom Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Hi there. First off I want to thank everyone on this board for all their hard work in figuring out how to modify these games and for providing a plethora of new content to add. I am, however, having an issue when I inject a new Superstar into my copy of WWE 2K16 for PC (Steam) and I was wondering if a solution might be presented. I use Data Editor along with Character Creation Tools. My I inject a POFO and MOVESET the new wrestler will show up to be selected for matches and whatnot, but when I try to start the match the game will just hang at the loading screen. Is there something I need to do once they're in the game in order for them to be properly recognized and loadable? Opening them in the in-game editing suite and saving them or something? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Quote
Cave Waverider Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Did you also install the ch*.pac files to go with the .pofo and .moveset? All that .pofo and .moveset files do is add the wrestler names, it's stats, moves, etc. and make it selectable. They point it to the ch*.pac file in the \pac\ch\ folder which is the actual wrestler model. Without it, the game will hang or crash. You appear to have posted in the wrong game section, by the way. Misho Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 Also check the pach id of the .pac using a hex editing program (such as hxd) Quote
doinkdom Posted March 3, 2017 Author Posted March 3, 2017 (edited) I was unaware that I needed a pac file to go with the pofo and moveset. I thought maybe the pac was those two things mushed together into one file for convenience. Clearly I'm new to this. I'm about to try installing a new wrestler with all three files. Fingers crossed. I realize I put this in the wrong spot so I also posted it in the WWE 2K16 section. Thanks for the help, fellas. Edit: Success! Woo hoo! Edited March 3, 2017 by doinkdom Success! Quote
