Hollywood Hogan Troubleshooting

Hello Tekken,
 

I copied the Hollywood Hogan pach files into the pac/ch folder and evt folders files and ingame/motion folders file.

But when I started the game and I went into my / superstars options I can't see the Hogan.

What made wrong?

You need to also install pofos/movesets with either cheat engine or xpacker, using one of the methods mentioned above

With cheat engine, do we still have to be on the front screen title page in the game to install? Like its shown in the video.....because I think I got the moveset installed, but the pofo may be my problem....im going to get X-packer at the end of the week to see if that's easier. But I believe I'm doing the cheat engine right. But something is missing and I'm not sure what that is lol

Yes you need to have opened the game and while in its main screen open cheat engine and then install the moveset just the way you install the pofo, just don't forget to save things after you install both those files by going to edit superstar and simply changing crowd reaction and then confirming, then it should be working fine as long as you have used the correct values from the spreadsheet. The video posted of 2k16 is exactly the same for 2k17 only thing different are the hex values you need to use.

Damit, it seems like I did everything right. But still not Hogan. If someone can please make a video showing us how to install would be a great help......im desperate lol

Might seem confusing at first but after doing it a couple of times you'll get used to it

Yeah I know that video. And I'm actually pretty good at using cheat engine for 2k16. But for some reason, I'm missing something. And I would like to see a actual video of a tutorial using cheat engine for this years game. Mainly I would like to just see how this HOGAN is put into the game this year. That custom character tool had me spoiled. Somewhere during this installment, I'm missing something....lol its weird. But I need to get a handle on this quickly. Or I wont be able to get this off my mind lol

It's exactly the same procedure this year as well. First you need to copy paste the files in the pac folder and then just the same as last year with only difference being that there is a new value spreadsheet this year

What method did you use? I used Cheat Engine, everything worked except the moves, a few of them froze my game. Thanks in advance!

You  need to scroll down to default pach 460, and from there you need to use the pofo start hex for the pofo (here 142CEDF60 ) and the moveset start hex for the moveset (here 142B42166 )

I did the steps you listed above, using Pozzum's memory sheet. I'll try it again tonight, i may have overlooked a step. Thanks for your prompt response!

No problem, it is pretty straight forward, only issue i had at first was i got a prompt when changing the values saying the size is different or something like that but I may had pasted something wrong because after redoing it it worked perfect. Oh, also make sure you have pozzum's superstring so the name appears correctly and that should be it!

Yes, i did put pozzum's superstring, i did a temp workaround just to have Hogan in the game, i copied Cena's moveset. Sometimes, i enjoy doing this mod stuff ,more than playing the game itself

guys having a problem with adding hogan with cheat engine method every time i try to add pofo file cheat engine giving me warning that might conflict the game files ...

Just so you guys know Tekken has previously asked to refrain from Cheat Engine Process Trouble shooting in his threads as they are officially installed using X-Packer.
