Def Dave Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 The strange graphical artifacts shown above on the barricades. This keeps happening in created arenas. Does anyone happen to have any tips to resolve this or is it a glitch requiring a 2k patch? I've tried every sort of graphical setting in-game and have updated my nVidia drivers. The gfx errors happen randomly but they happen most of the time. Every once in a while the barricades display properly. Also, the ring and floormat randomly show gfx errors that look like patterns. Anyone else experience this? Quote
Wizard3 Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 that is weird dave. do u have it set on low graphics jw saw not alot of the crowd there? Quote
Def Dave Posted February 18, 2017 Author Posted February 18, 2017 I've tried it with low settings as well as high settings. It's done this with everything maxed out and everything low and off. I'm dumbfounded and frustrated because what I most want to do is create classic WWF arenas to share like last year, but they are f'd up with all these blocky patterns. Quote
Perfectplex Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 do you have a good connection? if so move your WWE2K17 somewhere safe out of the steam folder, then reinstall the game so all the default files install. To me it looks like a mip map issue, if you don't know what that means its basically where a texture file (dds) will have multiple layers so that when the camera is far away from the texture it only displays a low resolution crappy version then as it gets closer it goes through multiple stages of improved quality. It kinda looks like its stuck on a low detail mip map. The only graphical glitches I have noticed are weird black artefacts around things like tassels when they intersect with the ring canvas. You could also try reinstalling the graphics driver but choose a 'clean install' which will completely remove the old drivers and settings and give you a fresh install as new. Quote
Cave Waverider Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 You guys should post your system specs and compare. Also, make sure to update all drivers to the latest version, especially the video card drivers. Quote
