Moving up the Title ranks

How do you move up the title rankings in my career mode? I've been a contender for the IC title for almost 2 years and I'm only ranked 4th. I've call out the champion and the top contenders on several occasions and my ranking still isn't increasing. Has anyone had any success with winning single titles? The ranking system seems to be broken

Pretty sure it has to do with a number of things. Popularity, Wins of course, and if you're hot. Mostly Popularity I believe.

ONCE U WIN THE TITLE, YOU CAN MOVE OVER TO THE WWE HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE OPEN CHEAT ENGINE SEARCH 4 BYTE FOR YOUR POPULATION IT WILL ONLY BE 2 BARS THAT POP UP SO IT WILL BE EASY TO FIND THEN CHANGE THE VALUES TO 0 EXIT MY CAREER COME BACK AND THEN CHANGE YOUR POP TO 9999999 AND WAH LAH YOUR  RANK 1 GOING FOR YOUR SECOND TITLE. HOPE THIS HELPS!

I was forced to use cheat because I played for a month straight and no changes and i won tons said the right things ect.. 2k is just a broken POS I will wait about 5 yrs before I purchase the next 1 they are going In the right direction though just still In "Beta" Pretty much.
