Error/White Screen On Quit...?

Ever since clearing out cache.bin with HxD so I can run mods, whenever I quit the program, I get a blank white screen.

I have to Alt+Tab in order to see there's an error msg, and then use Alt+Tab to quit to return to desktop.

It's not game-breaking, but it's REALLY annoying. This didn't happen before clearing the cache. Is this a known issue? Has anyone managed to solve it?
