I will send you the pw. No worries.

Just curious, what's the point of the password?

Sometimes people's mods just get reposted on other locations with no credit.

Adding a pass makes sure they know who made it and don't just redistribute.

Honest question. Does it really? Because if some scumbag who has the password wants to do that, they can just extract, put it in a new .rar file and upload it as theirs. Is it a little more difficult? Yes, but still real easy, and in my opinion not worth the trouble. Leaving the password in the first page of this topic would produce pretty much the same effect and it would save him a lot of time.

And @Dennis-Bieser is there any chance you are making The Hardyz?

Exactly my thoughts. People will always find away around it. I was going to put a password on my Hogan, pack, but then in reality it wouldn't do any good, and I would have to deal with message after message asking for a password.

Back to the topic at hand. Great work on these mods, sir!

its not your fault, its the impatient spoiled brats who just cant wait a couple of days for a response fault. its sometimes not worth giving it to them if they cant wait for a little bit, there are somethings worth waiting for and this might be one of those.

My models and textures were stolen in the past. A few guys have released my mods as their own work.

Well the thing is ripcord I'm personally of the opinion that they may not even really care about the product itself they just want something to post on their blog so they can get hits and get adrev.  Adding resistance increases time and hurts the profit of said ventures.

However I'm probably overthinking it

I agree with you, but I just don't think it hurts them enough to justify the trouble Dennis has to go through to answer all the PM's. Sadly, there's no effective way to prevent people from stealing mods because it's just too easy and legal actions are questionable, since you are using IP's from devs. The work is yours, the model is yours (in this case it could be quetioned too, since you're using the image of a person even though it is a celebrity) but the rest isn't. And this is not a problem only here, TES and Fallout modders suffered a lot with this. That is why I if you are a modder you gotta do it just for the sake of being one, and for loving doing it.

Well Leon's / Dennis's mods don't get posted to the main offender I think of so I'd say it is effective.
