hello, can someone help me..? when i try to create a caw, sometime the game crash and send me this message " Graphics_device_removed" but i have this problem only when i create a caw, if i play or i do something different i have not this problem, someone can help me please? my PC is   "

I had this once, reloaded the game straight away then it worked.

Reinstalling the game likely won't help you. This message usually means that your video card driver crashed and recovered during the game.

It does appear this is happening to several people, so it might be a driver issue or an issue with the game causing the driver crash when loading the CAW mode itself.

What are your system specifications and which display driver version are you using? Perhaps try a different driver. Do you have any overlays like MSI Afterburner, FRAPS, etc. installed? If so, try to disable them and see if it helps. If you are overclocking anything, return to your default clocks and see if that helps, too.

@Cave Waverider   you are right, i wait for 9 hours for nothing, i reinstall but the problem still.....the very strange thing is that i received the message only if i use caw, if i play or other stufff, i have not the message the game in ok......crash only in creations caw...my clock is ok, i don't over clock, for download more logo, evrything are good.

- my pc is HP Pavilliom Gaming 15-ak112nl Notebook

- my video driver are :  Intel (R) HD Graphics 530    and  NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M

Please , if you can help me, i'm very disappointed, you now i usually create a good Caw for all, i'm not an expert in PC, so i need help.

I just tried and I was able to reproduce it. It's a game bug in conjunction with Nvidia video cards/drivers, it seems, as it doesn't occur on the PCs with AMD video cards I've tested.

I can get the game to crash with the error you mentioned 100% of the time by doing the following on two PCs with Nvidia video cards:

Reproduction steps:

1. Try to edit a created Superstar/Alternate attire.
2. Exit the Edit mode.
3. Try to edit another created superstar/Alternate attire.
4. Watch the game crash to the desktop with a "DISPLAY_DEVICE_REMOVED" error.
 

It seems that every second superstar I try edit in a game session will crash the game.

 

It's best that everyone that has this bug submits a ticket to 2k Custommer support by clicking this link.

@Cave Waverider    i did evry your step, i create one caw, i exit.... i come back for create another caw, i save it and go out, nothing happens.......when i try to mod one one this caw puch the button modification, the game crash.....

what's i can do? i need to delete Nvidia? or what's i can do please?

in my control pannel i have:

Nvidia driver Graphiocs 378.49

Nvidia Geforce  Experience 3.3.0.95

Nvidia PhysX System software 9.16.0318

 

I need to delete something??

@napolenehotel have you tryed to check it the right Graphics adapter is selected in the nvidia panel ? Maybe its trying to play the game from the intel HD graphics :S

In any case, you can't really do much right now, as it seems to be a bug with the game.

@Cave Waverider ....there are very many strange things......during our discussion i try, and try to set graphics video ecc....i change something and i don't know really what's i did, but for now the caw creation work. I try to create an easy caw, mahabali shera from TNa because is easy not to much logos, and work fine for now, i try to make a match in game and the games doesen't crash.....really crazy!!! i hope you can enjoy in the future my Caw, i'm an expert cawer, and i love the mod that you and the other create for us!!! hope the issue is finish
