Follow this thread, I'll write it down here when a new version comes out and also update the thread title. SE is not my primary development target at the moment, I'm focussing on CCT right now. But I will release a small update for your issue. Can't test it right now.

I've just tried myself and worked perfectly. I changed Nikki Bella's theme for James Storm's and worked like a charm. Are you sure you have everything set up as explained?

Yeah when i click on the music Hells's Demon right click go to import then nothing no dialog errors just nothing and i launched it as admin

could i add you on steam

i just noticed that something pops up in the bottom left corner but it goes away so quick i cant see it

Thanks for this program. Used it a lot last night and I can finally leave the menu music on. It's been at least 5-7 years since I had it on last and actually enjoyed some of the songs. Big props to Kross for all the music he's gotten up so far. Going through the old SVR soundtracks and having to find a limited number of tracks was a fun challenge. All I had this year was Black Sabbath, and sorry, but can only listen to so much Crazy Train before going crazy from hearing it too much.

yep could you help me maybe i have been trying to import a song but nothing happens but i notice a dialog in the bottom left that goes away so quick i cant read it

I would if I could but I haven't had any issues. First thing for me is that it's making a backup, followed by injecting file, and then file injected.

@methodDo you have changed something on your system? Any styled themes or something? Because that import is a normal file dialog like any other dialog in Windows! What resolution do you use?

 Which is funny, cause they don't work as pointed out earlier in this thread. Which is now 15 pages long, so I understand if you missed the post.

Huh. That is funny. I've had no issue whatsoever with his files and injecting them. Every one of them has played fine.

In 2k16 i made my own promotion and created 40 original wrestlers and so this tool was super useful because i wanted to give them all a fitting theme song. A lot of fun to go through my mp3's and match the perfect tune to the character. Essential tool.

It was just a guess, as some users reported problems related to some WEM files from the forum. Especially files created with Wwise directly.

To be honest, I often use Sound Injector from 2K15 to convert MP3 to wem since I had it set to a particular volume and had always worked fine. I tried James Storm theme for Nikki Bella using SI 2K17 and worked fine.

I've been using this for a while and can't thank you enough for it. Awesome job as always.

 

Anyone got the idea to change chants? I've been exploring the files and they are there, would be nice to get a more active crowd.

I think there's something weird with the 80s and 90s themes in the game (not SE).

When I was previewing them all in the show creation tool, sometimes the game would play the wrong one (for example, I'd pick 80s 2 but the game would play 80s 1). It wasn't consistent though. I think it's a glitch. My suggestion would be to replace other themes instead - maybe 2K will fix it at some point.

@TheVisitorXi have regular stuff installed and i use 4k res but what im saying is in the bottom left of your program the dialog pops up and disappears so quick and then nothing changes and no nothing happens it just says Error Couldn't create backup file even though there is one already

12:46 AM It started working after I ran a repair on my VC Redist thanks for trying to help everyone but now the sounds are muted in game and the files i imported are magically becoming wav files

yeah me too i replace the files i play it to make sure it works then i go in game and nothing plays its just a very low hiss thats all. i have a very loud surround sound every other sounds works they become wav files and go silent

That wav issue and this 90s issue are two independent things. They have nothing to do with each other. That the 90s sound isn't changing is because 90s 1 is alternating with 90s 2. That is a glitch. 80s has the same issue. Try to use another theme. That wav issue was a bug in version 2.1.2 and is still a bug in SE.

Problem here is: First SE converts a file to wav because Wwise can only read wav files. Now that wav gets converted to Wem. If a conversion  goes wrong, SE does not exit,  it tries to inject the source wav. But the game can't read wav files so it gets muted... And because SE can't inject wem to wav extensions you cannot fix this. I have to fix that.

For now it is the safest way to import wem files only.
