@Cave Waverider , I've created a new pach by extracting all the files from an SHDC and injecting in into a 2k16 pac. It works fine in 2k16.

 

I've just coded the function to read the save slots. A lot of the save has multiple zlib files in it. It seems like the all the created content is stored in the save file.

Also I noticed that Tye Dillinger and Mojo Rawley seem to be missing from your slot list.

@tekken57Have you figured out what's causing mods with multiple yobj's to crash ingame? I've tried using the new yobj slots, but it still crashes. It's annoying me.

Here's the crazy part, I used old gen hair for a Booker T mod I did and it worked fine. It's just when I used more than one 0000.yobj the game crashes. That's why I hope someone has a solution or most of my mods are now useless.

Ok, could you test if any of the vanilla pach files with more then one yobj slots works in 2k17? For example Hogan's 2k15 pach with the Boa?

I would like to try and get entrance props for Hogan to work but for the life of me I don't remember and failed to find through a forum search what the hex variable change in the pofo was for props.

Does anyone remember what it was?

Did you try loading a pach into a pac with a SHDC? I don't think that was successful on my end. HOWEVER importing a SHDC into a old PAC with a PACH inside works.

Used the same files from last year.

The advanced 2k15 entrance anims fix the titantron problem.

Here is Hollywood (everything in this video is added to slot 461, music is attached to the titantron bk2)

Notice that Jillian actually calls out added wrestler weight and where they're from. She still does not call out names though.

I am pretty sure the 2k15 moveset anims will work to but I can't test those since that will need to be patched into one of the PAC files like we did last year.

As some said before, Tye and Mojo aren't on the list, when they are please let me know, because all those empty spots I could start to put in Ch# the pacs of 2K15/2K16 so we could have them added for an edited string.pac without doing too much thinking.

That's a huge find man! It saves us from having to figure out the string hash on the new pac files. I tested this by injecting Goldberg into the rock 2k16 pac and it works perfectly.

I used the pac list from the modding section. If you guys have a more complete list, post it and I'll update the slots.

 

 

In other news, I'm coding the moveset support at the moment and it seems like the dev's went out of their way to make it difficult to mod the game this year. The moveset files are different sizes for different slots making coding support a nightmare!

No I'm still working on coding support for it. Will take some time, but updates will be emailed to everyone who has donated already.

 

I have just confirmed that adding wrestlers to game is possible, same as last year. Adding wrestler pac's to the game is also possible. The save function is going to take some time to code as the save file is a mess this year.

Ported over RVD and X-Pac today

First the good news...

2k16 entrances work almost perfectly. Only the Pyro and DX overlay is missing from X-Pac's entrance.

Now the bad news...

2k15 entrances that aren't accessible in advanced (like RVD's) are unusable this year. They block the titantron, music and crowd sounds from playing. There are also ramp bugs in certain arenas.

...I'll be civil and say no, no you cant use your activation code from 2014 for the latest iteration of Xpacker.
