Shiryo Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 (edited) Hello guys. I just started adding mods in WWE2K16 and I'm fine with it. Installing, edit pofo and movesets, create and add renders etc: no problem. Anyway i'm stuck with the editing of the original string.pac.If I edit the future proof string.pac everything's goes ok, but I'd prefere to start from a "clean" string.pac because I'll just add sone wrestlers over the (HoF) characters and the two terminators, so I'll be able to inject renders. I'd like to edit only the names of the one I'll overwrite, leaving the rest of the text as it is.Problem is the original String.pac doesn't show contents like the future proof one. I understand maybe it must be unpacked, but i did't find a tutorial for this particular need. I tried with unpacker 8 with no luck. Can someone point me to any tutorial to edit the original string.pac? Thanks Edited January 7, 2017 by Shiryo Quote
pozzum Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 you need to decompress the 0000 .pac and reinject it Quote
Shiryo Posted January 7, 2017 Author Posted January 7, 2017 Thanks.Unpacking the string.pac there are these:4000, 4002, 4003, 4004, 4005, 4009I unpacked all them and extracted the relative 0000.pac. Each one contains wrestler names, ok, but there is no sight of, for example, Col. Robert Parker '96 or Ted Dibiase (HoF).Are they hidden somewhere in some DLC file? Thanks for support. Quote
