Thedeadmanrising Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Why the developers took the body sliders away? Because of that a lot of the caws dont have their proper body morph. Was this really necessary? Quote
TakerUnder Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 I think It kinda was, because I remember last year when I was playing 2k16 on PC, I tried this thing with cheat engine and It let you use body morph on actual superstars like I used Undertaker and John Cena, it would just make a bunch of gaps or pointy body parts. And 2K17 CAWS have real WWE superstars body templates, like John Cena, Alberto Del Rio I think, and Typhoon. So It just wouldn't work. Quote
Codes. Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 I think they will add it back next year. I believe this new system will be incorporated with sliders to really let us control the body morphing of our CAWs. 1 Quote
NickBreaker Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 you know, at first I really couldn't believe it, but it's not been that bad - I've had a couple of issues, with odd body shapes, but for example now there doesn't have to be a weird waist, you can have hips that are in line with the stomach, and the hip and buttock morphing looks so much better.A good example of the problems of the old vs new is with a Rhino CAW - he has a thick shapeless body and the old system forced you to have hips and a waist.eg.oldnew there is now a huge amount of difference from the generic CAW morphing of the past. What would be great is being able to keep this system, but slide width and length just very slightly on parts. necks are an issue atm, but a lot could argue that it helps blends caws with in-game-models, which is the name of the game. HiPcavallo Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 (edited) Honestly I think they did it so caws would look more like in game characters. In that respect I can definitely see the upside, problem is the system is currently too limiting. Had the preset parts been templates we could freely edit (like many of us were expecting), then it would be a great system. Hopefully this is just intended as a stepping stone for future games to build upon, so next year we might get a system like what we were all initially expecting this year. For now though the cons definitely outweigh the pros as far as I'm concerned, but at least it didn't turn out to be as bad as we all expected when we found out morphing was gone. NickBreaker Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 there are ways round lots of morphing bits and bobs - such as adding socks or long trunks to add girth(are we still talking about 2k17?) Quote
Thedeadmanrising Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 (edited) But do anyone notice how a older Hogan caw dosent fit the mold as it should. Alot of your 2002-07 Hogan caws look too skinny. Im not saying he should have his 80's physic, but he has more mass than the traditional body type that we are forced to give to him. the King Lives Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 i think it's just a new system they plan on adding on every year. let's just pray it doesn't break anything next/this year Quote
sdd619 Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 The body morph I always thought was something for fun. Taking that away took away from drunken nights with friends & making funny looking Caws. Quote
