Patch 1.04 RUINED AUDIO

Matches are fucking dead. Crowd and commentary are worse than ever. Anybody else notice that?

I haven't had any issue myself since I got the patch. Is this just an Xbox issue. It is weird that you will see things that half the people will get with issues & others won't. But there are the ones everyone gets.

Outside they work but in ring not much

One thing I have noticed is that when you go out of the ring. The shadow of what you would see in the ring is in spots outside the ring.

Besides that not many issues have changed at the moment for me. I am on PS4 as well.

Fireman's carry to the knee!"  amazed me and made like the game now i get...*hits move* "AJ Styles nails it!" Dafuq is that sh*t!

Yes, I've noticed the same offline and online matches. Crowd audio and commentary will just go silent for like 30 to 40 seconds at a time. Come back for a line or two them go away again. Really sucks, I can't wait until they fully patch this friggin thing. Pissin me off.

that and when you would do some of the suicide omg dives they would really get into it. now, nothing. they don't even call the names of the moves anymore

May be worse now, but to say the audio is ruined just doesn't sound fair to me. That would imply it was actually decent to begin with. Also, how the fuck is less commentary a bad thing?

It's bad when you have zero reaction from the crowd or the commentary AT ALL when performing 85% of moves including silence during OMG moments and finishers. THAT is why it's fucking bad.

well to be fair i kinda liked the commentary even in 2k16 the only times the commentary has annoyed me is like in 16 where they would keep announcing the wrong city and in 2k17 they kept calling the crossface the bank statement then i saw how people were complaining about that so i guess they tried to remove that from being called in every crossface variation and somehow all the audio was affected

I get the crowd reaction complaint, but for me it was rather inconsistent from day one as it was. Commentary has been horribly broken for years (personally I wish either we could turn it off or that they'd just remove it completely and reimplement it later when they can get it right), personally I just see less commentary as a good thing. My point was really just that audio needed fixing to begin with, you could argue it was already ruined, it's simply worse now (stupid thing to nitpick on I know, but Im good like that).

The commentary wasn't the best this year but it was way better than the past games, arguable the best. 85% of the moves were called, finishers, OMG moments, basic commentary. I get used to that quick. I even played the game more and more just to hear the commentary. but it was all taken away so now I'm stuck with terrible commentary. with  no reactions from the crowd.
