Cave Waverider Posted November 13, 2016 Share Posted November 13, 2016 (edited) Why isn't patch 1.03 out yet for the Best Box aka Xbox?Because 2k wants to save money.They had to fix it for the PS4 version since it had a critical bug that wiped the Savegames when the console went to sleep on the main menu. Since the Xbox One doesn't have that bug, they probably thought it would be a waste of money to add a patch to Xbox Live right away.As you may know, developers have to pay for each update/patch (and not a small sum either, depending on size) they upload to closed platforms like XBL/PSN and 2k likes to save on that, which is why past games also only got a minimal amount of patches even though they might have needed more. Some developers may have paid for a certain number of patches in advance or signed an agreement for them at a discounted price, and if they add more than what has been agreed, they have to pay extra.I'm guessing Xbox One will either get 1.04 right away (if it's required for the Legends DLC) or they will upload 1.03 packaged with the Legends DLC so they won't have to pay double for the upload.Worst case they'll just "forget" to patch in the 1.03 stuff, which has also happened before (in WWE 2k15 on Xbox One - although they remedied that a few months later, WWE 2k16 on PC which is still missing some fixes the XB1/PS4 version got - even though Steam doesn't charge anything for a patch upload), but I hope that won't happen. Sorry to hear you guys are going thru that. Are you guys still having the invisible alt attire issues on x1 post 1.02? I know it was fixed on ps4 but i keep reading it's a problem on x1.
