Doing a royal rumble and the caws have a weird glitch like knee pads stretching or boots stretching.

Its all caws across every type of match.  I'm testing it right now. I'm pretty sure there are certain pads/boots we can't use until they fix this.

The idle ref isn't fixed at all, now we can't even trust the patch notes xD

i don't even know what that is cause that's never happened to me. although now during mid-match run ins the match gets turned into an unwinnable brawl

Apparently logos we upload are no longer limited in download, uploaded and downloaded ten and my download limit didn't changed, in fact the download limit number and the time doesn't even appear in logo manger download.

Awsome if it stay like that

Ok. I tested with Dyno's Steve Corino and Raiee's Angle. There are certain knee pads and boots you just can't have.

*Ive tried Deleting knee pad>saving>adding pad back>saving. Still glitched

*Ive tried removing logos from the pad

*Knee pad without boot

*Caw chosen as second player

why is my patch 17gb? I'm using the digital version btw.

are you just now getting the game/Downloading it? i only ask cause there was an 11gig day 1 patch, 1.02 was 4.7 or something gigs and this one is 1.3 gigs

nvm. i got home, and when i restarted the patch it became 1.3 gigs. dunno what happened with that one. i've had the game since launch so that's why it bothered me. must've glitched or something.

you do realize that if yukes is gone that everything will have to be restarted from scratch again right?

wwe 2k17, mafia 3, nba 2k17 apparently even xcom 2 on ps4, all have been released glitchy, far from being finished, the prob is 2k not yukes.

And that would probably be a good thing, too. Of course, that would likely take years and WWE reportedly wants them to release a game a year, so it probably won't happen.

you don't get it.. everything.. the moves we have, the entrances, the game modes the GAMEPLAY it all will be gone. cause it's all yukes' work and it's their engine. i'm not saying i don't want it to be improved but i know that after the backlash from the 2k14 - 2k15 transition, this would be much worse

Oh, I understand. But these games are still based on an ancient engine with loads of redundant stuff in the code. Creating a new game from scratch with a modern engine to build upon without all the garbage and possibly designing the game in a modular way would be best long term pergormance- and otherwise (heck, it should have arguably been done for the transition to pc and current generation consoles, but they took the easy way out instead). As I said it would take years of development time to do right and I somehwhat doubt that 2k or Yuke's would even be able to accomplish such a task at this point.

very true. i really think if they had atleast a year and a half to develop then alot of these issues could be cleaned up but nope, WWE is so money hungry they just have to have a game every year. i honestly think that if GTA was a yearly title it'd probably be as glitched as 2k17 is lol

It is similar to fifa. Since years ea just tweak a bit on a few screws. Nothing really new, adding new jerseys and a few animations. They are not able to set the golden champion badge to the current champ in carrier. But it is getting better year by year. So we have to be patient, 2k is on a good way imo.

FIFA, however, has changed its engine to Frosbite this year and basically re-created the game from the ground up. And they did the same with their Ignite engine a  couple of years back. The WWE games, on the other hand, still use an ancient engine that they have just tacked on more and more features leaving lots of unused legacy garbage behind that causes sub-optimal performance and causes all kinds of issues.

i can't speak for this year but the last time i played a madden game i felt it was just the same thing just updated rosters (i think tha was madden 14 or 13 can't remember) so yeah and i know they actually admitted to the bad code from like the first SD game still being left in and that they only have a small amount of time to try and get rid of that bad code. i'm honestly thinking that may be why the in ring announcing is so bad this year cause it was nowhere near that bad last year
