There are certain knee pads and boots you just can't have. *Ive tried Deleting knee pad>saving>adding pad back>saving. I'm using the digital version btw.are you just now getting the game/Downloading it? i only ask cause there was an 11gig day 1 patch, 1.02 was 4.7 or something gigs and this one is 1.3 gigsnvm. i got home, and when i restarted the patch it became 1.3 gigs. dunno what happened with that one. i've had the game since launch so that's why it bothered me. must've glitched or something. But these games are still based on an ancient engine with loads of redundant stuff in the code. Creating a new game from scratch with a modern engine to build upon without all the garbage and possibly designing the game in a modular way would be best long term pergormance- and otherwise (heck, it should have arguably been done for the transition to pc and current generation consoles, but they took the easy way out instead). As I said it would take years of development time to do right and I somehwhat doubt that 2k or Yuke's would even be able to accomplish such a task at this point.
