tomwearsglasses Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Hi Everyone,So, like many people here, at some point after I started modding this game I had a problem with my computer and reinstalled Windows and all my software. Ever since I did this, I've come across this weird issue in which saving a DDS file *slightly* changes the file size.For example, if a file is 680 KB and I edit it, it'll re-save as 682 KB. The newly saved files work fine in-game - but since they don't match up to standard sizes I can't inject textures directly and have to create a new archive every time I make a change.Any idea what I'm doing wrong? The original "head.dds" size was 680 KB and Photoshop save it as 682 KB file... the same with the "head_n.dds" (1,32MB) and the new "head_n.dds" file (1,33 MB).I think the only solution is to create a new texture archive. 4 Life Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 Are you still using the same Mip Map settings as you were before? Usually the cause of these things.I've always just kept in the habit of creating a new archive each time anyway, only marginally more effort and always works Quote
