amazing eh. I live in Edinburgh and would chat to Ewen Bremner who plays Spud on an almost daily basis at my cafe. We did an interview a few years ago with him for a film podcast I was on and he said all the Trainspotting cast and Danny Boyle were open to doing T2 but were just waiting for a truly great script that everyone loved.

Nobody wanted to do a sequel 20 years later just for the sake of it so hopes for this are high.
