It's based more on the WWE/nWo era of him rather than his WCW/nWo era, almost every WWE game which has included an nWo version of him has also had the boa for his entrance attires.

okay lol in that case you're forgiven.  yeah i know it did. that's why i hated he ever started wearing it.  Take WWE2K14 for example and even 2k15.  you change the entrance or appearance and it's the same as Joe. where Hogan just pulls a hulkamania shirt and boa out of nowhere LOL
