Matt6sic6 Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Like the title says, Tekken57's Sandman is editable in-game. As you all know, with a good 90% of most superstar mods, when you try to edit them in-game the game freezes and crashes. But not with Sandman! For about a week now I've been struggling to get Sandman into a different set of clothes, I'm still learning, so progress on this isn't very far. However, this morning for the pure fuck of it, I decided to see if I could edit the Sandman model, and would you know it the thing is fully editable? You can't change the hair, but most everything else is doable. When he appears in the mode, his normal clothes are gone, and his skin around his abdomen and feet are solid black. No problem, cover it up with shirt, pants, and shoes. Now feast your eyes on this video: Now, I know the logo's on the pants are incredibly choppy and crap quality. But THIS is a look at what I'd like to eventually do with the model. I seriously doubt I can upload this to community creations anyway. But man, it's nice to see some progress. Quote
hovathagod32 Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 do you know what you did to be able to do that or is it just a random thing? I know I used to have the weird effect thing with hair during post match replays, but now for some attires I've been working on it doesn't do that anymore. Idk how the hell it changed, but hey.. Score one for the bad guys lol Quote
Matt6sic6 Posted October 28, 2016 Author Posted October 28, 2016 I didn't do anything. It just straight up worked. No idea how or why, it just does. Earlier in the year I tried the same with Rick Steiner, and it crashed immediately. I think I tried it once with a Goldberg mod, and the model had no legs, but did have feet, and as soon as I tried to edit something it froze. Not sure what's so special about Tek's Sandman. Quote
JonasSlasher Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 actually, some mods are editable in create a superstar, its just a matter of trial and error, princelucian's mickie james is editable too Quote
4 Life Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Quite a few mods are actually editable. Just be careful though and back up your save religiously, there's a fair chance that you could corrupt your save file doing this as you're essentially saving a bugged-out created superstar into your save. tekken57 Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 As long as there aren't too many hacks in the model, you can edit the mod in create a superstar. Take a look at my Jeff Jarrett mod. 1 Quote

HyperVoxel Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 Does anyone know why it crashes when editing people like Hogan? you said there is a 90% chance but I am curious to learn more about this. Quote
