tomwearsglasses Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 Hola. Does anyone know if the sound IDs within the pck files between the console versions and the PC match up? For example, on the PC the sound ID for Booker T's theme song in game_sound_m.pck is 1001667920 - is that also true on consoles? I was thinking - if they match from year to year, and there's a way to access the console pck files, we could probably work on cataloging the song IDs before the PC version is released. Quote
hovathagod32 Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Not 100% sure, but from what I've seen within 2K17 for console, there isn't a sound folder like there is on PC. There's just a sound.pac that you can't really extract in xpacker. Quote
TheVisitorX Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 (edited) There is a game_sound_m.pck, at least on the 360 version of the game. The calculations are a bit different because it does not use little Endian but the sound file id should be the same. Sound Editor does not support console pck files but it is possible to open the console pck file (360) with Ravioli Game Tools. Edited October 26, 2016 by TheVisitorX Quote
tomwearsglasses Posted October 26, 2016 Author Posted October 26, 2016 Thanks guys! If I can get my hands on some of the 360 files I'll do some more research, otherwise I'll work on other stuff while I wait for the 2k17 PC release. 1 Quote
