Asking for help transferring shirt/pants from one yobj to another

Anybody willing to go that extra mile and help me put a regular t-shirt and baggier pants on Sandman? If I could simply move the shirt and pants from AlcLegacy's Tommy Dreamer to Tekken's Sandman it'd be wonderful. I have a copy of X-Rey, but haven't a clue what to do in order to accomplish this.

I'm planning on Making some oldschool ECW attires, as well as ECW Revival attires. If somebody knows of a detailed tutorial, or even feels like doing the grunt work while I handle the textures, they'll get credit and be immortalized in my videos on my channel.

Hi, I am hoping this maybe makes more sense to you than it does for me lol [it was for 2k15 so you need to use a slot other than 4E22 since it doesn't work for '16];

Jesus this sounds complicated. Thanks for the link though. Anybody have a suggestion as to what slot I should use since 4E22 doesn't work?

Stupid question, sorry, but how exactly do you inject one yobj into another slot in a different yobj? I have x-packer and x-rey, and I am completely new to this.

Not possible mate, gotta add another YOBJ to the PACH file.

Open Dreamer's YOBJ in X-Rey.

Find out what object numbers the shirt and bottoms are.

Open the YOBJ in Anatomizer and remove everything apart from said objects, by moving said objects to the top of the list and then reducing object count to 2.

Reopen the YOBJ in X-Rey and extract the objects as OBJs.

Repeat the above with Sandman, though moving his shirt and bottoms to the bottom of the list and reducing the object count by 2 to get rid of them.

Import the required objects into your 3D modelling software to shape the clothes around Sandman's body.

Export them, then Inject the OBJs back into themselves in the YOBJ.

Rename the YOBJ to either 001A or 001B.YOBJ

Create a folder with all Sandman's textures. Remove his shirt and bottoms textures and replace them with Dreamer's, then edit them as needed.

Create a new texture archive.

Create a new PACH with all Sandman's files including the YOBJ with his shirt/bottoms removed, the 001A.YOBJ (Dreamer's shirt/bottoms) and the new texture archive.

Inject that into your ch.pac and try it in game :D

Try this video if the above wasn't detailed enough and maybe this thread. Don't worry, it's confusing as f*** at first but once you've got your first mod out of the way it gets easier.

Oh, and top tip - if you finish the mod and decide to release it, make sure to get permission from the original owners of the mods first and of course give credit where credit is due ;)

That was exactly what I needed to know, Thank you very VERY much. As per credit and permission, I always do. I wouldn't think of releasing it otherwise. I'm not even sure if I'll be able to do this anyway.

Don't just look at it and give up on it dude! A mere few months ago I was watching videos, reading tutorials and was unsure as to whether or not I'd get to grips with it. A few months down the line, I've got a fairly extensive mod page and can recite the entire procedure off the top of my head like I did above. As I said, it's baffling to start with, but have a go, also have a read of the rhread I linked as I asked a bunch of newbie questions as I worked through my first mod, and if you get stuck anywhere then ask the forum and your question will likely be answered (still do that last one myself from time to time and I pick up a new skill or bit of knowledge every time :D).

Start over is your best bet, something might have went wrong mate.

I've noticed this error when using Anatomizer on last gen models, it somehow creates an error when you reorder the parts. I do this manually i.e.

1. Open the yobj in X-Rey and note down the objects you need.

2. Click on the extract button for object 0 and then for each object you want to use.

3. Open the yobj in a hex editor and also open the Object0.headerinfo file created by X-Rey

4. Copy the first few bytes of the headerinfo file and search for this in the yobj, this will be the starting point where you need to paste the header info for all the objects you need to use.

5. Open all the headerinfo files in a hex editor, copy all the bytes and paste into one of the header info files. In the end you will have all the header info bytes in one file.

6. Copy all the bytes from the combined header info and paste it in the starting point discovered in step 4.

7. Open the yobj in anatomizer and reduce the number of objects to use only the objects needed.

Keep in mind though, the 360 and ps3 versions have memory limitations and cannot load more than one wrestler yobj in one pac. To overcome this, I usually extract the object and inject it into a caw part using the inject smaller function.
