Cus7ate9 Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 As per the title I AM asking if I should fork over the money to get a PS4 and make some of my creations on the PS4. My uploads and content I have created can be viewed on my Youtube channel. Here are my latest uploads for the Xbox One Quote
Penguin Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 If you're getting it just to create stuff on a video game then no, that's just stupid. But if you want to get a PS4 because of some exclusives you want then I say yes. Just not to 2K, buying a game twice just to do some creations and not bother to do anything else because you already own the game is stupid. 2 Quote
Dbo2700 Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 I selfishly say YES!!! I was a fan of your 360 work, would love if you came to this side. Get some exclusives to balance it out though. Bloodbourne and Last of Us Remastered. I'll play some SFV with you if you're into that. Quote
the King Lives Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 i will say this. i am enjoying my ps4. i've had it since september 2014. i originally got it only because of wwegames jumping to current gen. but then i got into Infamous Second Son, DCUO, and recently Star Trek Online. plus with PS4, in case you decided to upload your videos with music and such, the sharefactory app is very user friendly and also allows up to 200MB of mp3 import.so creation and wwegames aside i'd recommend it, but if you are a huge gears of war fan among the other exclusives x1 has to offer, well there's that path. HiPcavallo Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Jeff no ones telling him not to get a PS4, just not to piss away his money on a new console and repeat purchase of 2K17 just so he can upload his work on both consoles. 1 Quote
the King Lives Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 i was just telling him that he should get it for more than just a wrestling game. I made that mistake when i say the 2k15 graphics. but i wasn't getting it exclusively for 2k15 there were other reasons.1 major reason was sharefactory and the ability to import music. that's been an ability since january 2015. even before the stupid ps4 mp3 player thing.the exclusives were another.and the fact that ps4 is a bit more stable (not turning into a console war but just saying) than x1 was when they both released. Dbo2700 Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 But if the aim is to also have exclusives from both consoles..... Still, having two copies of 17 is a little much. But I would be a happy camper. Lol Quote

But I would be a happy camper. Lol yeah i was forced to do that once.. when i got WWE13 for ps3 cause of all the issues wwe12 had on 360 and i was warned not to. and it was worse. 1 count glitch, freezing with logos in universe couldn't at any time access community creations, so 2 weeks later i said f it and got 13 on 360 which did prove to be more stable. The only thing at this point that i would want from x1 would be gears of war 4 and i'm not dropping 300 bucks plus money for accessories for one game lol Quote
Auday Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 This is really dumb honestly. So you're wasting like $300 to make a bunch of caws (especially that most of your caws are ingame superstars which been covered by tons of people on PS4). You're either REALLY rich or your parents are rich. Add to that XBOX is lacking CAWers. PS4 already has tons of them and most of them are way better than the XBOX ones. If you move to PS4 you will probably not get much feedback or downloads as much as you do on XBOX due to the competition on the PS4 side. 1 Quote
Steenalizer Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Call me a cynic, but did you make this thread just to advertise your YouTube channel? 1 Quote
Cave Waverider Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 I'd suggest to stick with Xbox One and save up for Scorpio next year if you want to stick to consoles, or use the money to upgrade your PC/get a new one that you can play all games with all graphics maxed out in the latest games, including the WWE ones. As Auday stated, the Xbox One community probably needs goot CAW creators more than the PS4 one at the moment, too. Quote
XHP Kayne Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 dumb to get a system for onethat said....don't abandon us xboners. we loved you first.....stop threatening to break up with us over that whore Sony, she will never love you like we do!!! Quote
Dawk1996 Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Xbox exclusive games suck, i switched from xb1 to ps4 best decision Quote
Cus7ate9 Posted October 24, 2016 Author Posted October 24, 2016 Now that I heard some really good responses. I have to go with not getting it for just that reason. And yes it would be just to get it for the creating aspect. And I can see why that seems dumb in a lot of ways. Guess i'll be sticking to the Xbox One for now. Either way Ill have to get two games, when the PC game comes out, you know I'm getting it. And no on I'm not rich, just believe in putting money into something if I want to do it properly. When I got WWE 2K16 I had to fork over thousands of dollars to get it running properly. That plus I'm always looking to better myself and my creativity when it comes to this awesome community. Thanks guys for the input, wasn't even really thinking about how much money this would cost and the reasons for it. Just thought maybe I should. Phew! Quote
