Simulation Gameplay

Every since 2K took over the WWE games 3 years ago the game has moved towards more of a simulation type gameplay, however, the wrestlers never sell their injury body parts. I remember playing the earlier Smackdown games on PS2 and the injured wrestlers will always sell the hurt body parts. Does anyone know why 2K does not incorporate this function in the newer games? It's a bit odd that the feature was in the games with the arcade gameplay but not the games with simulation gameplay.

I remember in 2k14, if you used limb target the wrestler would grab their arm or limp.
