Can someone give me some advice with the face import please?

Hi all.

I've been trying to get results from the face import feature.  All results to date have looked like crap.

Now, I know I'll need to mess around with the face deformation side of things.  However, I have some questions about the format of the photo itself and I wondered if those who have had good results could give me some guidance please.

I know we need a photo with good lighting and a neutral expression.  I also know it should be 512x512 for optimal results (in some cases 700x800).

My questions are:

- Should we get rid of the background in the picture?

- Is it best to get rid of the eyes as well?
