Goon3r73 Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 A question for anyone really. Has anyone had another wrestler run in either at the beginning, or during, or at the end of a match yet in their game? Do run ins only happen in Universe/My Career Mode? Oh and yes before anyone asks I have the settings set to ON. Do you have to actually be playing in a match or can you have an all AI match for this to happen? Quote
Jet Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Yes, I've had several run-ins before and after my matches. I play regular matches (ie not universe/my career). Quote

Are you playing as player1? Are both wrestlers AI and then another runs in? Ive tried a few options now and yet to see a run in. Do you require 2 wrestlers where 1 or both of them have rivalries? The opposition needs to be a wrestler with the specific tendencies to do such a thing. Such as Goldust attacking me (playing as Stardust).I've found that interference at the end of the match is normally an ally of the person you just defeated. Sometimes it triggers if you decide to continue attacking following the match. Quote

The wait continues. Quote
Brick Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 You can adjust the frequency in options. I think entrance is off by default Quote
Goon3r73 Posted October 12, 2016 Author Posted October 12, 2016 You can adjust the frequency in options. I think entrance is off by defaultYes Ive found the option to increase the likelihood of this happening. The default setting is set to 50 so as it states a 50 percent chance of these happening. So Ive set it to 75/80 chance of happening to try and get it to like the real life thing. These days there aren't many matches without someone running in interfering. So I will play a few more matches and see what happens. Quote
Brick Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Don't think that settings necessarily mean 50%. I've set it to max and only happens about 30% so it seems like a different scale Quote

Ill set mine to max then and see for myself. Just out of interest does this only happen if your actually controlling one of the wrestlers or if both are set to AI. Its just so far in all my matches I have played there has been no run ins. Also it seems that legend difficulty is rather easy. That or I am a little better at playing it than I thought. Quote
Jet Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Had a post-game run-in last night.Singles match, no managers. I was being Big Bossman vs. Brian Pillman, normal difficulty. Following the pin, Mr. Perfect came to ring and attacked me. Not sure if the difficulty affects anything, but could be worth a shot. Quote
Goon3r73 Posted October 16, 2016 Author Posted October 16, 2016 (edited) Finally had a couple of run ins. First was when I was playing Goldberg versus Sting and Kevin Nash ran down to side with Sting? For whatever reason. The second was when I was playing John Cena versus Edge and The Rock came down to side with me for whatever reason. But it seems when mid match interferences occur they just come down and stand in the corner of whichever wrestler whom is fighting and do nothing. They sometimes stop the referee from counting. But other than that they don't do much really. Certainly not in a normal 1 v 1, they don't suddenly jump in and cause a DQ or anything. So all in all its not really very authentic but I suppose that kind of of interference level would require quite a bit of programming.Anyway it is a start I guess. Sting and Nash were in the wolfpack so i'd assume they were allies. Goldberg and Nash have always been enemies. the mid match run ins are cool. i had Stephanie run down to support triple h in a WWE WHC wm32 championship rematch against reigns and she actually pulled the ref out and slapped him after reigns hit the spear and went for the pin. I just wish i had saved that clip cause i almost fell out my chair when i saw her slap the ref lol Quote

However, I didn't realise that you could set allies/rivals for just exhibition mode. Quote

Raddad88 Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 I've found universe moves along alot better if you set it up the way you want it and sim an entire year, the game naturally runs through alot of stuff without interruptions and it seems to take off from there. It'll run it's own course, but that's how it works best. I am thinking about it though. Any opinions of it? Is it worth starting straight out or simulating a year and then starting after its collected some data? Quote
