Thoughts on the game?

Overall I'm disappointed. Virtually every match I've had has had glitches and the framerate in multi man matches is unplayable.

Try a 6 diva battle royal if you don't believe me!

Another thing that really bothered me about 15 and 16 is the constant booing from the crowd for faces and heels. 17 is a bit better but it's still there. In fact, the crowd even booed through my show intro in universe!

I think if 2k can fix things with a patch, it's got potential to be really great.

AI is a bit better  (although I still haven't lost a single match on legend) and the graphics, for most part, are nice. 

Gameplay is a bit clumbersome and sometimes the wrestlers don't move in the direction you're pushing lol

Its a strong 6/10 for me. 8 or 9 if they patched all the broken crap like being able to control tag partners in universe. WTF!

As far as this game, I've only gotten to play 2 matches so far. 1) As Bret Hart vs "Mr. McMahon" 2) As the Undertaker w/Balor & the Ascension(My new Ministry- will add Shango later) vs Mankind. I still got my butt whooped by mankind though lol

Anyway, all I can say is I wish there was an option to change the controls like how we used to have in last gen wwe games. I always preferred control type B. I play much better that way but I guess I'm gonna have to get used to the new system because I don't see any options for changing the controls.

Community Creations- I'm already seeing some pretty damn good and/or fun looking creations. Kane '99, Bull Nakano(who I downloaded), Alternates for Sasha Banks, Charlotte & other current talent, Fuji Crush, L.O.D. Jim Duggan, WWF Lex Express Luger etc.... I did not think I would like them but I guess after seeing 1st hand what current gen looks like for the 1st time, I'm quite satisfied & expect even more epic creations later on when caw makers really master this new system

Well, that is my 2 cents for now. The rest will come later as I get to play some more.

Overall, I'm VERY happy I've waited this long to upgrade. Perfect timing for someone as skeptical & picky as I am lol

Probably because no one ever rated anything, you were lucky to get one rating for every hundred downloads.

Well I am afraid 1st impressions of the game are not great. Graphics wise I am too spoilt these days with having had built a custom gaming rig recently. PS4 graphics are no where near as good. That aside, I am disappointed with the fact that there isn't even an alternate attire for any wrestler unless you create one or download one from CC. Matches are glitchy but I'm guessing they will fix that in a patch (hopefully). I haven't tried Universe Mode yet so cant comment on that, nor have I tried career mode either. That reminds me, is it me or is Legend settings far to easy?

For now it seems to me as though its last years game (rushed as usual) with a few things added. But then again its an annual franchise kind of like FIFA so we are not going to get a brand new game every year are we. Commentary is as off as ever and like someone else stated the crowds do not react as they should.

Downloading of the patch is an incredibly long process, it is still saying I have over 12 hours to wait, but then again my internet speed isn't great. Add to the matter that the game didn't even arrive until gone 6pm last night for me so yea, all in all I am afraid that disappointments outweigh the good atm. 

I could go on saying more and more about the game but for now I will give it a chance to see if initial disappointment turns into something better until such time as PC (mods, mods, mods ) version comes out.

Oh yea I forgot to add that I am also too used to 2K16 (heavily modded version) on PC.
