hovathagod32
They are the BPE files inside the decompressed pac but there will be a shit ton of them, I wouldnt even bother until there is a tool to extract them.I see.. Damn.. I really need the Havoc demon/pumpkin.. I think I tried bg00 and when I was messing around, only 2 BPE's showed up in search. Didn't know what to do after that, though. UndertakerWLF
If they are doing that, then it may be wise searching for NBA 2K mods, if the structure is the same then maybe there are tools out there to extract this new archive. Mathayus
Is there a way to know in witch part starts eah pach file in hex? Or you need looking for BPE by BPE?Asked: The Pach files now are called: SHDCÚ, so you can find where it starts by that. Mathayus
my prob is i can find where to start but not where to end.The SHDCÚ finish where the next SHDCÚ starts, and the last of the pac ends where ZLIB info at the end of the pac starts. It´s simple.
Twistedmisery666™
Ya it's pretty easy I managed to get romans and seths color.dds but is there a way to manually inject a edited file back into the hexeditor to make it work ? WWF Legends Fan
WithouNoooo ... why did they do that? The only thing I knew in moding was to inject ch and bg pacs and now its gone. I wanted to included Beefcake / Sid Justice and Texas Tonrado in my 2K14! How would I do that now I am guessing 2K has changed it to make the moding difficult .. so disappointed admittedly I'm just guessing here, but I imagine they are trying to bring the WWE2K17 file format inline with that used in other 2k games as the one we're all familiar with, they inherited from THQ and probably makes development more awkward for them Probably you are right .. I am just little down as i only play with legends and have been adding them to my 2k14 .. i have replaced many current superstars in 2k14 with legends from 2k15 and 16 plus other mods from this site .. and i was looking forward to add beefcake / sid / kerry von erich / tatanka / greg valentine etc from 2k17 .. hope guys here find a way to do that

UndertakerWLF
2K can change the pac files all they want, we are a talented bunch here who think outside of the box and unlike 2k modders always give more content rather than take it away
HotavioH
So, I've been away for a very long time (mostly playing and modding NBA2K...) but since WWE 2K17 was released, I turned my attention back to it.Noticed that new ugh! pac files of the game... So I kind of created a macro automation for a faster .BPE "extraction" (I don't know if is shareable, however maybe I can extract some of them and share). Mathayus
Ya it's pretty easy I managed to get romans and seths color.dds but is there a way to manually inject a edited file back into the hexeditor to make it work ?That´s easy. Get the 000C.pac in X-Packer open a patch from 2K14, compress and inject over a 000C.BPE. Extract the compressed file. Now it´s Zlib. Go to the hex editor and you can overwrite the old 000C with the new one. I edited Diesel and The Rock with Success. So I kind of created a macro automation for a faster .BPE "extraction".That´s cool and save time editing, cause we lost a lot of time looking for and extracting each file. Mathayus
@TwistedMistery: You made something wrong in the process. You need to see that the 000C.zlib match in size over the 000C.BPE when you inject it back in hex. And save it in the correct DDS format. If you do it propperly it will work. We need a new Xpacker otherwise it will be a complete pain in the ass.Just relax man, it will happen in time. Yes, Rooster did it with Goldberg & I've done Razor Ramon. When you are extracting the BPEs in hex how do you know which ones they are?I mean obviously its the yobj first, but once you get past 000A to 000F how do you know the names of the remainder? I tried to do D-von but stopped once i realised i had no idea if I was still extracting his ring attire or if I was now into his entrance attire It's a lengthy process for sure, but between us we could get a lot of the new models extracted in no time
Red Rooster
What used to be a PACH file is now an SHDC so select from SHDC until the byte before the next SHDC and copy and paste into a new file then you know you are just dealing with the one attire. Unless you're trying to do superstar threads the only other two bpes you need are 2710.yobj & 4E22.yobj. those two are normally down a bit and stand out because the file sizes are much larger than the threads pac. So I just search for the largest 2 at the end, rename them to a .yobj format & open them up in x-rey to be sure. If they're yobjs x-ray will open them up, if not x-rey wont. But youll be able to tell by the file sizes and once you've done a few you'll know which ones which. The average pach has around 15-16 bpes in it. phoenix66
I successfully extracted the BPEs 0000, 000A, 000C and 2710 from AJ Styles entrance and inring attires.Injecting them into a pach from 2K14 (used Jerichos) it worked perfectly in 2K14.I could identify the 2710.bpe by searching for the text "trans" in a hex-editor, as it seems to be found only in the 2710.bpe.Just a little above the text "trans" you'll find the beginning of the "BPE". Then select till you find the next "BPE".Hope that helps finding the hair.yobj (2710) a little easier.
LeonRick
u could search jboy to find all the yobj models.
phoenix66
You're right LeonRick.Just found out when I began working on the Dudleys tonight. The text "trans" can be found in other bpe as well.Searching for "jboy" is better.
