Has anything been said or seen about Online Mode? Perhaps about lobbies returning?

Online Mode has been a staple of my gameplay from WWE Smackdown vs RAW 2010 until 2k14. With the removal of lobbies and online entrances online kind of died for me and my pals. I was curious whether or not anything has been said, revealed, or even maybe leaked about online modes in WWE 2K17 

My biggest want last year and again this year is for the return of Online Lobbies and Online Entrances.

I haven't seen anything regarding online gameplay unfortunately. Safe assumption is very little, if anything has changed.

i know alot of people wouldn't be happy with this comment but i hope to god they do little as far as online matches goes. the only thing that really should get any type of overhaul would be CC. online match making though that stuff does nothing but cause problems

Dang, I guess it's just me then. I really liked having lobbies and stuff for the games. Matchmaking is cool too, but being able to just look and see what matches were available to play was cool. I also miss entrances during private games. Me and my pals used to love making arenas and CAWs and showing them off. It was just fun. It hasn't been the same since 2K14.

i honestly don't think i've played online matches since maybe wwe13 i did have fun with a few friends but anyone i didn't know was a nightmare.  I remember going to LA and leaving my 360 with a friend and when i got back i had a bunch of hate mail and it was a bunch of people added to my ignore list. i asked him what happened and he said that he kept reversing people when they tried to run grapple spam him and basically won matches that way and the comments were like "can't you do something other than reversing?" lol. so yeah that was it. i didn't try 2k1k5's online cause i just didn't have any motivation to do so but i've gotten a few invites for 2k17 so i may give it a go.

 

i think my most memorable match was when wwe12 released and it was me, 4 other community leaders (at the time) and one noob that hijacked our match and we took him out first cause all he was doing was running grapples (it was an EC match) then it came down to me and charles shane and he pinned me after 2 tombstone pile drivers (i was my own caw with a 70 ovr and he was undertaker) i will admit that that was some fun.
