Perfectplex Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 Don't be scared off by negativity, those that mean well will give constructive criticism and suggestions, take it to better your work, and those that may give unhelpful bashing of your work, just ignore them, at least you're trying.Anyway that being said there's nothing wrong with this mod, looks fine to me but you forgot the download link 1 Quote

PH_Guy Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Cool, nice start. I'd just suggest that you could use one hidden image for one attire/superstar, instead of one per photo. Example:CACTUS JACKPHOTOPHOTOPHOTO... Quote

4 Life Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 (edited) I have got the Normal files figured out but i cant get the AO Files down my AO files my mods always have a funny shadow over them could you explain what im doing wrong maybe video how you create AO if you couldTry not to mess around with the AO files unless you need to. They're a sort of shader file, basically any black parts will have a shadow cast over them in-game. This can be used to make the object, or parts of it, look more metallic. In most cases though just open up the AO file from the object you're using and if there isn't anything to get rid of/colour white over (such as metallic logos and stuff) then just leave it. Same with the normal files really, I hardly ever make one from scratch, rather use the original normal file, use the paint brush and clone brush tools to scrub over any existing logos and stuff and then make normals for any new logos or bits and pieces before pasting them over the original normal. With the alpha channel in the normal file, pretty much just copy-paste it elsewhere, edit it to manipulate your shiny bits and non-shiny bits and then copy-paste it back in. Often with all files though I open the main texture file I've created and colour the different layers accordingly, then with the normal file once it's done I obviously then apply the normal map filter before copy-pasting it over the main normal and delete the bits I don't want. Matt6sic6 Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 (edited) Dude, I'm DIGGING' the Cactus Jack stuff. Excellent logo work.Let me give you some advice though regarding the wrap-around for logo's on the back of his shirt. If you're using Photoshop, take the logo and shrink it to size and make sure that horizontally the pixels are an even number. Then, go to view and select new guide. Click vertical and type 50%, this will draw a line down the middle but it won't transfer to the image. If you have Snap enabled you can select the left and right half of the logo, and copy paste it to the shirt. Now comes the tricky part. For me, while working on my Tommy Dreamer mod, the magic numbers are 7 and 6. On the left side of the image bring the left half all the way to the left, then move it to the right 7 pixels. Make sure the other half of the logo lines up horizontally and move it all the way to the right side of the screen, and then move it to the left 6 pixels. Then save and seen if they line up correctly in game. The numbers may be different for that shirt, but they were the same for both my Tommy Dreamer mods and my Dudley Boyz stuff.Cheers brother.
