what does these buttons mean?

i keep meaning to ask this but keep forgetting. but every now and then while playing i glance at my box that shows my energy and player picture, and every now and then i see buttons like x, and a pop up very quick next to the player picture. but every time i notice its to late because it flashes very quickly, but i was wondering if n e body knew what it does when it pops up and u hit one of buttons correctly

it's the limb targeting man, hold RT and pressing Y (head) X(arms) B(other arm) A legs while they're standing or you have them in the tie up position or if they are on the ground you can hold RT and press X at the head Side or Leg areas again for Limb targeting.  I hope that helps. it's not a pop up text. i think you may be sometimes tapping the RT button and that's why the face buttons are popping up

oh ok thanks, i had totally forgot about limb targeting lol, i spend 90% of the time on the game creating and glitching caw/superstars and play few matches online every now and then, guess thats why i forgot all about it lol

it's easy to forget. i pretty much make most of my limb targeting submission moves instead of actual limb targeting moves so i guess that's why i know so much about them lol. you're welcome though
