you can with superstars. Just create a alternate attire or save the superstar directly. Do not tick use as alternate attire. Thats how you use superstars in my career. IDK if it works for some mods too

If you can open the mod in the creation suite without crashing and save it without your save corrupting, then it'll work. Just make sure you back up your save before trying it and disable uploading to Steam Cloud
