DARKNITE515 Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Explains why the Digital Deluxe is $90. So no deal, just less clicking... Quote
HiPcavallo Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Ugh, it was like $20 last year right? If there's enough additional DLC content to justify the price increase then I'm fine with it, but if this is just another cheap cash grab then I'm pretty pissed about it. 1 Quote

I'm fine with the DDE Version Quote
DrJoeyMagnum Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 I call bullshit, you can't afford me Quote
the King Lives Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 sorry i'm not into slavery. you might wanna follow that up with someone else.but anything I want i can get Quote
DrJoeyMagnum Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 maaaaaaaaaaaaan I knew it yo broke ass couldn't afford me nor fufu's ass, maybe Penguin's though Quote
Raddad88 Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 that's why i said anyone that got that nxt edition is a suckerThe Balor figure is rad, I collect toys so I'm all about that, plus my kid absolutely loves Balor so it's gonna be fun. Also very stoked on the Nakamura Signed lithograph, I doubt that I'll get the chance to meet him anytime soon, as NXT doesn't come close enough to me let alone WWE to make it happen. The bit of ring matt is awesome too, I rarely watch the big two shows, mostly just NXT and CWC when it comes to TV wrestling. So while you think I'm a sucker, I think you're a bit of an ignorant twat. Go fuck yourself. 3 Quote
the blur Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 NXT edition is a TOTAL rip off. If you like the stuff included more power to you. Bestbuy.coms listing of the season pass says it comes with 4 dlc packs, hopefully that's 4 wrestler packs, not 3 wrestler packs and a moves pack. We shall see. 2 Quote

I don't care about the extra $20 I spent. I wanted extra stuff. Honesty, I like the stuff included and Im at the point in my life and money wise.. I don't give a F about $20 or $30.I love how people are suckers for liking what they like and willing to pay for it. Well, I'll be a sucker and enjoy my rip off. I'll go sit in the corner now. Quote

You can bitch about the lack of Nash's knee strikes all you want, but anyone that's in the game should already have their moves included. The moves packs should be specifically for enhancing the creation suite and allow us to create more accurate movesets for created wrestlers. I know they haven't always gone by that model, but its a complete ripoff and blatant cash grab when signature moves of in game characters are withheld and released as DLC (like in WWE 13 when we had two Jericho's and his Lionsault and triangle dropkick were in the moves pack, he uses those moves constantly so there was absolutely no excuse for them not being in the game from the start, especially considering they should've been added years earlier). I fully agree that it's a problem that in game characters aren't given complete movesets, but the moves packs should not be used as a solution to that. Also just putting this out there, there aren't even 10 Young Bucks specific moves in the game, and I believe only 2 were in last years moves pack. We really could use more Young Bucks moves because we are missing a lot. Quote
the King Lives Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 (edited) Also just putting this out there, there aren't even 10 Young Bucks specific moves in the game, and I believe only 2 were in last years moves pack. We really could use more Young Bucks moves because we are missing a lot.my point is all they ever are or indy moves. there's hardly been anything for legends the last 2 years (since 2k15) nash still doesn't have his corner knee strikes, Rock still has the same sorry people's elbow and poor HBK still has that horrid SCM. and yeah i agree if these moves were just added in on disc i'd be okay and wouldn't complain that much. The problem is Bryan Williams. he does the moves pack and he doesn't take anyone's suggestions into consideration anymore. i remember back in the THQ days when they started with WWE13 he asked people on twitter what they'd like to see. everyone makes suggestions to his twitter every year and he sort of brushes them off. If they add this stuff this year on-disc (which i doubt) i'll never complain about the moves packs ever again loli actually wish they'd do a creation suite pack. that would be cool. but yeah i doubt nash gets his corner knee strikes again this year cause i don't even remember him doing them as diesel. if nash gets in as nash as a duplicate then i'll voice my concern lol. i mean it really took till 2k14 to get the inverted DDT (scorpion deathdrop) in the game. i mean i think the community is still hurting from all those moves that were removed without replacing them all. I think the only hope for HBK's SCM is if they added a Dolph version. it wouldn't be the same but it would ease the issue a bit. oh and that's why i wanted Sid in. cause he had one of the best Chokeslams and powerbombs. no there were about 9 or 10 young buck tag moves or atleast that's what i thought. but i was kinda exaggerating a bit. @Ezy yeah i hardly shop at best buy anymore mainly cause there aren't any best buys near me and every time i use credit online i have to send like 5 verifications to prove who i am cause my identity was stolen. but yeah that's a good plan for those that can go that route. HiPcavallo Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Well in fairness there's arguably more reason to add indy moves to those packs over legends moves. They aren't complete morons, they know that indy fans buy these games, they already have legends on the disc as well as legend DLC packs so there's already plenty of legends content to appeal to that market, not to mention there's already more reason to add legend moves to the games since many inevitably make it into the series at some point. Outside of moves packs there really isn't any content they can add to appeal to indy fans, and even if these indy talents get signed they'll never be able to use some of these moves in WWE. As I said I fully agree that there is no excuse for not including signature moves of in game legends, and moves in general seriously need to be addressed. But adding them to the moves packs is not a solution, it simply creates another problem. You complain about Nash's knee strikes a lot, but considering he was already on the disc in 2K16, if they'd also made you have to pay for WCW Nash as DLC, and then made you have to pay for the moves pack on top of that to get all of his moves would you really have been happy about that? Yes, you would've at least got all of his stuff but that would've been a sleazy, bullshit move. The only point I'm trying to make is that the moves packs need to be moves that are specifically for people that aren't in the game, or otherwise moves that are usable for a number of people but aren't necessary for the movesets of in game characters. Everything that needs to be fixed or added needs to be included on the disc, or their respective DLC packs. Anything short of that is just a bullshit move. There are actually only like four Young Bucks specific tag moves, and technically one isn't actually a Young Bucks move, but one they used whilst teaming with Kevin Steen as Mount Rushmore (the Package Piledriver/Superkick combo, Steen did the Package Piledriver, the Bucks did the superkick). I know you were exaggerating for dramatic effect, but still. I know you don't like them, and that I wind you about how their shit needs to be added (which it does!), but like it or not it really is just a smart move adding a couple of their moves every year. The Young Bucks are one of the most popular acts in the industry, and easily the most profitable outside of WWE. If there's anyone you want to be taking moves from to entice people to buy these moves packs, then it's gotta be them. Quote

HiPcavallo Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Well yea, but it could be applied to the Bucks as well. Quote
