Sunny Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 https://stationfy.com/ufc202/n92fFor the record, I had 2, 3, and 5 for Diaz. But, I'll be the bigger man and say Round 2 was a toss-up. Hence, the 47-47 with 10-8 to Diaz for 3 and 10-9 for McGregor in 1 and 2I saw the second equally contested, but we'd probably need to analyze that round comprehensively through a blind test study. Auday Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 I would go with McGregor. He knocked him to the ground like 3 times imo. He fucked Diaz too with those kicks. Diaz did good at the ending of round 2,3 and 5 but McGregor always managed to get away and fight back. McGregor was good with avoiding the punches too. 1 Quote
Aero Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 Honestly, draw or Diaz. Glad it was given to McGregor though, bring on the rubber match! Quote
DrJoeyMagnum Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 McGregor won the 1st, 2nd and 4th rounds IMO, I know Diaz had a flurry of strikes at the end of the second round but it wasn't enough to win the round Quote
Sunny Posted August 22, 2016 Author Posted August 22, 2016 You forgot to post a picture of McGregor's foot to go along with that. Quote
Auday Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 (edited) You forgot to post a picture of McGregor's foot to go along with that.I think McGregor's foot broke because he was kicking too hard, not because he got kicked too hard. At least Diaz got $2,000,000 after that clusterfuck tho. Edited August 22, 2016 by Auday Elyafe Quote
HiPcavallo Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 To be fair pictures of fighters after a fight are in no way a fair indication of who actually won. Some people bruise and/or swell up easier than others, and some can just take a beating and pick up an easier win once their opponent has tired out or fallen into a false sense of security and lowered their guard (Not that this example applies here but still). For example Brock Lesnar walked away from the Shane Carwin fight looking much worse, but he undoubtedly won the fight (for anyone who didn't see it he got a TKO victory in the second round).I haven't seen the fight so I can't comment on who I think won. But assuming it was an even fight I would expect Diaz to look worse after the fight, he's always bruised and swelled up fairly quickly, not to mention he has several years of experience over Conor as well as being a little older, which only makes him more damage prone. Comparatively look at the fights each have had, Conor's never endured the same kind of beatings Diaz has. Granted that does mean he may not respond to the damage as well, but in all likelihood his body would actually sustain less. Quote
fufu ÷ Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 Nate's skin is like a wet paper bag. Probably bleeds just from showering too much, so that was no surprise. Brock Lesnar would have kicked both their asses at the same time. 1 Quote
HiPcavallo Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 To be fair I imagine Lesnar takes shits that could kick both their asses. 1 Quote
