OK lets do the conversion step by step and you tell me which part you get the message.

Right click this video and choose Copy video URL

Go to http://www.clipconverter.cc/ and paste the url into the text box

Click on MP4 and choose these settings.

Settings will only show up to the resolutions of the original youtube video.

Settings should be defaulted to this

Click start and save it to desktop or something.

Rename it to test video.mp4, by getting into the habit of renaming the file you will avoid the invalid character problem mentioned before.

Open up Bink Tools.

Highlight your video and click Bink it!

Use these settings.

Now click on Bink.

If you left Use alpha plane unchanged from input file ticked you will get a pop up warning you that it will switch it off because it doesn't contain an alpha channel, this is fine click No so that it continues. (Alpha channel is for videos that contain transparency).

It will now convert the video, may take about 2-3 minutes

Click Done when its finished and Close the Rad Video Tools.

You should now have this file

If it doesn't already open with Rad Video Tools change it in your properties of the file to open with RAD Video Tools.

Double click the .bik file and it should open full screen the video clip.

Hitting Escape will cancel the animation and return to desktop.

If you are still getting the message following this very detailed step by step guide then please specify which step you are having problems with.

If it only does the problem with the file you want to use and this test one is fine then use the converter website in this tutorial to convert your video again and make sure you follow the guide step by step carefully until you know how to do it with your eyes closed.

Once you have learnt this you are now able to change titantrons and other videos whenever you wish.

Could it be because the K-Lite codec pack is not installed?

Posted

I haven't had to install that in years, but that is possibly because I install VLC player which I believe have the codecs included.

Oh will it? So if just download the VLC player, the codecs should  install with it?

VLC player is what I consider a must have program, it plays pretty much anything and everything.
