Hey guys,

currently I'm attending gamescom to checkout WWE 2K17. I upload videos in German about that, but here some things for you in English that other main stream sites might not cover. Enjoy or don't

General things from 2K presentation:

• you can start MyCareer on the Main Roster if you want to
• in bachstage brawls you encounter other people than only HHH (I asked about what happens when you play backstage as HHH yourself)
• PC port directly confirmed, but coming after console versions
• no parking lot

About the demo:

• only 1 on 1 normal possible
• Styles, Owens, Rollins, Ambrose available
• only normal difficulty
• Styles Entrance is bit out of sync (as Balor) IMO
• long hair looks still crappy
• major reversals are now orange
• alternate finishers are now "Ringside Finishers" and are shown in the pause menu
• Styles ringside finisher: Catch opp like Pop Up Powerbomb, than smooth transition into Styles Clash
• Crowd fighting is pretty boring
• you can do normal grapples along the way but nothing more or I didn't see the option
• you can dive from the box
• you can only use the table in crowd area with a special move
• there are chairs and the trash can
• backstage brawls weren't possible
• split screen also in arena when players are away from each other
• when both players are outside the ring, camera changes like in SvR09 (i hated it)
• Entrance attires after breakouts are much longer obtained (felt like a minute before attire change from Ambrose)
• you can use the championship after you broke out to a champ
• you can break out AFTER the match as well and just demolish your opp
• Pop Up Powerbomb works with R1 + Triangle
• saw a skill for a powerbomb onto a ladder in the menu
• huge fps drops while running towards stage (felt like 15 fps at certain moment)

My interview with Bryce Yang will be released 4pm German time. It will give clarification about the highlight system and we also talk about the number of 150 concerning the roster.

here's the thing there is no point skipping the NXT Portion of My Career Mode because you will face Superstars you cannot face on the main roster like i have never once face Tyler Breeze Finn Balor Kevin Owens Enzo or cass outside of NXT during my call up to the main roster why would i jump straight into the main roster when i can fight people in NXT i cant fight on the main roster

i don't really like tubby it's nice to know that you can actually get counted out by "Leaving" the ring. i'm sure that if the ai does it's "i'm done and i'm leaving bit" this time it split screens with you in the ring and the ai walking to that back.  i think that'd be so hilarious

What do you expect give it a chance probably just the same as WWE SVR 2007/2008 without the scaffolding. Good to see its return and the HCTP style of backstage areas.

he's just annoying. i moreso can tolerate him now but back around WWE13 he kept bragging how he got to go to the playtest. then he wants people to "pay" to get his insight on said game lol

honestly? what did people think? you can go backstage from the ring, if you get the ai trying to walk out the match he can actually walk out past the stage. it can work for exciting story telling. so to say it's boring would lead me to believe some of these people don't know how to work a show or match within the scope of a game.

i really wish we could have had the backstage fights last year. with the nWo and wcw dlc we had last year. would have as i said made excellent story telling.  hopefully all those people return
