Matt6sic6 Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Would it be possible to take one of the jackets from caw and put it on a modded wrestler? For instance, I'm very fond of Puzzum's Rick Steiner mod, yet I think he'd look even better if I could throw a leather jacket on him for his entrance. Attempting to edit him in-game causes the game to crash. Is there something I could edit in the pac file itself to get this to work? Quote
tekken57 Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Yes and no. You can add caw clothing from previous gen i.e. xbox 360 to the pc version but you cannot add caw parts from the pc version. You can also add the jacket by using the part from another wrestlers yobj. Take a look at the anatomizer program created by bannockburn. Quote
4 Life Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 (edited) In other words, you probably won't be able to edit it as a caw to add the jacket, you'd have to mod it. I think that's ERI's Rick Steiner btw, pozzum just ported it from 2K15 IIRC (with permission from and credit to ERI, of course) Edited August 12, 2016 by 4 Life 1 Quote

Every shirt in the game has a blank version in caw. So would it be possible to extract those blank textures .dds, ao, and normal files from the blank version of the bo dallas shirt from PC instead of trying to use his whole shirt from caw files to put on someone? tekken57 Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 The textures from the caw archives on the pc can be extracted, however they are in a custom format. You need to extract each of the textures and search within the file using dragon unpacker for the dds files. Look at X-Packer thread, I posted more info about this there. 1 Quote

Is there a list of what caw objects are which? I'll likely go through and find out what I'm looking for when I get the chance, but that'd def make thing easier. This will definitely make attire creating a lot easier, and look cleaner without having to patch over certain designs making the normals look dull Edited August 16, 2016 by hovathagod32 Quote
