So here's Balor's entrance for WWE 2K17 (I'm guessing it'll be an alternate):

It's easy to nitpick when it comes to topics like Superstar entrances, but overall I think they did a pretty good job nailing this one. I honestly wasn't expecting the Chainsaw Entrance. The "2-Sweet" at the 1:53 mark was a also nice little touch. There are a couple of negatives to point out as well. At around 2:13, the audio is clearly not synced up with the on-screen animations. That may simply be a byproduct of the video's encoding process, but still, it looks jarring if not downright sloppy. Finn's always in sync with his music and his poses. Also, they should have kept him in  the smoke and darkness right up until the point where the opening guitar riff kicks in. I mean, that's the way it was at Takeover Dallas:

Anyway, what were your impressions, positive and/or negative? Discuss.

It's cool...for that attire. Personally, I'm hoping there are multiple demon attires, with specific entrances to go with them.

Definitely better than Lesnar's. Probably one of the best in 2k17. I doubt if they made any changes to entrances for guys like Triple H, The Rock, Undertaker, and so on

I'm disappointed they didn't do the animation where it looks like he is swinging it like a sword, at 0:21in the original, that was so badass. Also the sound of the chainsaw could have been a lot better.

Oh and of course, great fucking job actually getting the thing where he puts his hands up to the music out of sync in the ring.

So i guess you're just going to complain till the game comes out, then not show back up here till this time next year to do the same thing again right? cool.

What are you even talking about? I'm probably one of the guys the most excited for this game, it looks awesome, but it doesn't excuse fucking up that bad on such a minor detail. It doesn't mean I won't buy the game at all, it's just a big fuck up on a minor detail, nothing more.

Jeff complaining about people complaining. Oh the irony.

Anything to keep CC from flooding Finn Balór face/body paints.

Oh....You don't? Does that mean I wasted my time making a Demon texture. :'(

I don't really watch NXT much.. Does he always do the "Club/Wolfpac/Kliq" sign coming to the ring?

Yes, because he's the founder of the Bullet Club.

I've been here for a little while now, and I'm not trying to single Jeff out specifically when I say this, but, my gosh, certain individuals just seem to snap whenever someone says something that could be interpreted as "negative" against this series. That behavior is not only preposterous, but it also borders on scary.

Look, I'm just as much of a fan as the next guy. Believe me. The medium captured my attention at the age of 5 and never let go. I've spent the last two and a half decades supporting the business in a multitude of different ways. I buy all of the games, I purchase the overpriced merchandise, I attend the live shows, I subscribe to The Network, and I watch all of the programs on television. As a loyal paying customer, I think that entitles me (and others like myself) to publicly voice any and all concerns, complaints and disapprovals at will.

In doing so, others should not perceive those words as "a personal attack" against the WWE, 2K, or Yukes, nor misinterpret said messages as "a lack of appreciation." And, for the love of God, please do not take "critical comments" regarding the game as a personal attack against yourselves. They're not. They never have been.

At the end of the day, we're all primarily here to discuss wrestling games... on a wrestling games message board. What a novel idea! As such, we're almost certain to have clashing opinions about the product. I think it's really important to keep that in mind at all times. But perhaps even more importantly than that, live, and simply let live.

I thought the lighting looked a lot better and Finn's model looks like they've improved it from 2k16. Overall most of the models this year seem to be much better. I'm not sure how I feel about Braun's model based on the screenshot they released. As for the entrance itself, I hope they have a normal Demon title entrance as well as I wasn't a fan of that entrance when he did it in the first place.

Sure look at the reaction to Suicide Squad, fanboys are blinded

It's based on his entrance at NXT TakeOver Dallas, where he had a chainsaw.

Yes, because he's the founder of The Kliq.

It looks like Prinsto confirmed it in his thread: Finn's entrance animations are not in sync with the arena lighting and music.

Of all the different entrances in the game, this is the ONLY ONE that they had to get as close to perfect as possible, and they couldn't pull it off.
