DrJoeyMagnum Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 Kevin Owens as DLC...where did you read that? Quote
Paroxysm Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 Did anyone click the link at all? This isn't some theory, this is literally proof, just read it. 1 Quote
the King Lives Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Kevin Owens as DLC...where did you read that?because that list didn't have owens listed as part of the on-disc roster at all. that's why i said that there's no way it's right cause owens would not be DLC Quote
the King Lives Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 You're jumping to conclusions the estimated list didn't have kevin owens listed on it. that's why i said no way it could be in the vicinity of being legit Quote
stlpowercat Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 (edited) "Between Jim Neidhart and Konnor, we have those five spots which I can't imagine go to anyone but John Cena, Kalisto, Kane, Kevin Owens and Kofi Kingston. Bad news for Karl Anderson, Ken Shamrock and Kevin Nash fans."I see Kevin Owens mentioned.I do question Elias Sampson tho. And why would 2k take out Hall and Nash?I think he had a practical approach but wouldn't bet on it being 100% accurate. Edited August 7, 2016 by stlpowercat Quote

They always put in the previous years DLC as part of the main roster, so having Hall and Nash not on the main roster would be unlikely. Quote
HiPcavallo Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Did anyone click the link at all? This isn't some theory, this is literally proof, just read it.Lol, this is a theory and there is literally no proof. The article even acknowledges that he was speculating to fill in the gaps. Quote

The article even acknowledges that he was speculating to fill in the gaps.Look at the article. It shows that all the images are linked to pictures, and that obviously means that if you guess right you might be able to reveal characters. Obviously he didn't confirm any new ones, but if he did a better job he could. That article was just letting people know about it, I would do it myself if I had the time but someone could definitely guess their way to unannounced characters if they spent enough time with it. Topdog Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 (edited) Seems to me that he just listed characters that everyone knows is already in the game, but this is nothing more than a theory like hipcavallo stated. Plus people on these sites "leak" rosters every year and turn up dead wrong, so take this with a grain of salt. Edited August 7, 2016 by Topdog 1 Quote
HiPcavallo Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Yea I know how he guessed the roster, and it's a clever way of trying to figure out who made the cut. But regardless how you look at it he's still just guessing. We could all make lists with the same method and come up with different rosters, I can already see potential faults with his. Outside of any questionable choices one example is he excluded Nash because the only people he could imagine getting in at Nash's window were John Cena, Kalisto, Kane, Kevin Owens and Kofi Kingston. If Kane doesn't get a retro slot then it's quite likely Kane will be listed as Demon Kane giving Nash or someone else an opening there and also messes with his predictions where Demon Kane needs to fit in. We could also have some surprising exclusions and inclusions that would fuck his predictions even further, if there's more than just a current Lesnar showcase then that would also affect who made the cut, and who any of us would predict. If you do, you see that there is a REASON as to why he does the guesses he does, because there is an actual system to it via the coding of the url on the already posted images, that could reveal images that aren't posted yet. He even says that Bray Wyatt is likely on this number, so if he took the time to type out the name he could check if it's true, then further work on the list to reveal new names. Those images aren't not uploaded, they are just locked away. There are no faults because this is the definite list by 2K themselves. I'm not saying it's easy work, but if you put work into it, you will probably be able to reveal at least 90% of the roster right now, as they most likely will remove and add several because I doubt they have the complete list done. HiPcavallo Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Funny because I just tried that and it doesn't work. It's just guessing, plain and simple. 1 Quote

Genericho™ Posted August 7, 2016 Author Posted August 7, 2016 What if they change the numbers and have more superstars in it? Plus all of you are going crazy, I just posted the link and Jeff/Jai immediately jumps to conclusions. It's speculation first of all and who knows? Maybe it will be 50% accurate. Even the damn article says it's "pure speculation" Quote
