Possibly localised announce teams?

Sebastian Hackl, one half of the German announce team replied on Twitter: "I'm in!" after a fan said, that it would be great to hear him and his partner Holger Böschen in 2k17.

I don't know if it actually means, that something like that has been done, or if he would just be "in" if the chance would come up.

If that's the case, I wouldn't expect someone like him to be ribbing about something like that especially if he doesn't get anything out of it. I am assuming you'd have to change the system settings in the options menu for the text like in their basketball games. I know in NBA 2K13 and so on, they had the user download a commentary pack from the respective digital outlets for $5 so, I don't put it past them to monetize this type of shit for their international markets if they're charging extra for guys that should've been in the game to begin with anyway.

so basically you could switch from english to another language? that'd be cool for those that'd want it lol.

i just want somewhat accurate commentary teams. atleast have the post mania 32 commentary teams in place. Cole Saxton and JBL on Raw, and Mauro, Graves, Lawler on smackdown.

and i've played 2k16 on last gen. none of that commentary got any kind of overhaul, they don't even have the 3 man commentary so i feel like this could be the best time to try to get the commentary right since they aren't splitting that work with last gen

actually,  that doesn't kill it for me as much as when they constantly announce the wrong city, or JBL brings up the hardcore championship. or michael cole brings up WWE.Com. i just felt like if we set a wcw crowd in CAA then it should have had the announce team more talking about the moves or just not say anything.  I would have been okay with the latter to be honest.

The commentary in general kills the immersion. Most of the time its just random as fuck and terribly inconsistent, they have in game arenas that don't even have the right commentary teams (like NXT, ECW, WCW, and Smackdown), not to mention Cole, Lawler, and JBL are a fucking terrible commentary team in real life so I can't say I want to listen to their video game counterparts repeat the same shit every time I play the game. I wish they'd at least give you the option to turn it off because all it does is piss me off.

yeah if we could turn it off without sacraficing ring announcing and ref counts i'd be happy. let me turn off the commentary voice in cutscenes as well

A little bit off topic, but something I've wanted forever is to be able to change the volume of the ring announcing and the commentary separately. So I can get rid of the god awful commentary but still have some ring announcments .. you know, like you'd hear it in the arena. 

Can't be hard to implement.

It would be cool to change the pitch and accent's of the announcers, for example make Lawler have a heavy russian accent, and Cole to have a southern accent.
