Blender - texture importing problem

Recommended Posts

Hi folks, hope someone can help me here. This has only just started happening to me the last few times I've used blender, dunno if I've done something wrong. I import a texture as usual, to the matching object, and this happens:

As you can see, the texture on the right doesn't look like what it does on the object. It's like it's been "tiled" put onto the object about a million times. It doesn't appear like that in-game, so it's definitely an issue in Blender only. Obviously it's much easier to preview textures in Blender to get the placements right and stuff rather than testing it in-game so I'd love to be able to fix this if possible.

Any help appreciated :)

Export the pants, inject it using xrey, export it using xrey and then reopen it and apply the texture. Or if the pants are not edited just export it from xrey and open it.

When you export the OBJ and import it back again then happened exactly this on the picture. You must export the OBJ and import it in X-Rey and export it back to OBJ and import it with blender and that's it!

Thanks fellas :D Yeah I did notice actually that importing the unedited object and then applying the texture works just fine. I'll just have to make sure to inject and export an object if I've edited it then. Cheers for your help :)
