No Regal? Must say I'm seriously disappointed about that. Not sure how I feel about this roster to be honest, unless there are some really good DLC packs I'm probably going to pass on this years game.

Considering I only use maybe 10 percent of the in game roster this doesn't phase me, I'm looking more for additions that carry moves and possible attire additions that open up better CAWS. 

Asuka should have some really cool kicks and hopefully a couple new submission animations, really hoping they go all out with shinsuke this year like they did with Finn last year, especially considering he's the highlight of an NXT special edition. 

The only thing that really bums me out this year is the lack of sigs and finisher reveal videos, that was always my favorite. 
 

For me its not that the roster is bad or anything, there's a lot I love about this roster, especially the new additions like AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, American Alpha, and pretty much every new woman. It's just that I typically prefer to buy every second game, so 2K17 was always going to be a hard sell for me, and having to pay for additional DLC outside of the season pass doesn't help. I'm just not sure there's enough solid additions to tempt me to get this game while I'm still perfectly happy with the roster I have on 2K16 (and aside from The Revival I have all of the new additions I care about as caws on 2K16 anyway, and all pretty good ones to). If there's any chance I still get this game it'll come down to the DLC and any improvements made to the creation suite.

i already preordered and i'm not overly happy with the exclusions but i can deal with it. plus they haven't announced dlc or the alts yet so there's that. Like I said DLC could still be a big selling point for me, if not then any enhancements to the creation suite could win me over. Worst case if the DLC doesn't win me over but the creation suite does and I decide to get the game after release then I'll just wait until Boxing Day so I can get it on sale and won't feel like I'm wasting money buying the preorder bonus and NXT DLC. If not I have no problem waiting until 2K18

i hope with the induction of asuka and nakamura in the game, 2k realised it's near to impossible to create realistic east asian looking caws and somehow worked on that. it sort of irritates me that the majority of my custom roster have a more eurocentric look as opposed to being diverse but maybe it's just me.

No Hot Rod Rowdy Piper included ???  All the legends from the past previous two games have made it. Please fix Randy Macho Man Savage signature to the Running Hot Shot (bring it back last seen in as a standing groggy signature/finisher in WWE SVR 2011) . He wasn't even in that game.

 

Also adjust The Ultimate Warrior move set as well with Warrior orientated moves from HCTP. Amazing Slam pin combo and Clothesline combo as mentioned from WWE Smackdown Here Comes The Pain.

The reason why Billy Gunn (bewp bewp) was in the game last was because he was apart of a very important match for the Stone Cold showcase 

I was referring to this year not 2k16

My thought process on the whole legends not being in the game  is three reasons. One reason is its not 2ks fault in the first place it's WWE, 2k sends multiple recommendations on to who they want in the game and WWE has the final say in who gets in or not. Number two a lot of legends are currently sueing WWE so You won't be seeing all those guys. Number three regarding piper he got released from his legends deal  simply put which means he's not going to get put in.

I understand the frustration of not having many legends as I would love to have Sid ..but there's a reason why these guys are not in the game, and it's not 2ks fault. People need to understand also that there are a lot of factors that go into this. I think a lot of the reason why they pretty much covered the whole current roster and gave us more divas is because they couldn't give us those legends to begin with.

I know but I did not count that since he was just an NPC in 2k15 which explains his awkward ugly model & lack of detail. Just like with Piper in 2k14 but at least they gave us his Superstar Head to work with. In 2k15, players didn't even have that option for Sid.

i would think so. i wouldn't think 2k would be that stupid to randomly insert razor and diesel yet cut out hall and nash. so all we can do is hope. and i hope there's some kind of wcw dlc as well. i'd love The Giant, Syxx, Curt Hennig, Scott Steiner, and maybe Kidman or Malenko since both of them pretty much work behind the scenes in wwe.  I still think it's odd that Road Dogg has been working with wwe all this time yet the only 2 games he's been in since the last 10 or so years in WWE13 and now 2k17. lol

I think maybe Regal will be a NPC in MyCareer, since he is the GM of NXT. Any chance we see a CWC DLC pack?

and no one wants to change a moveset everytime they want to use a retro version. that was the purpose of duplicates in the first place.  I don't want to have to change taker's finishers and sigs from the hells gate and last ride to the chokeslam and another tombstone everytime i want to use him. same goes for the rock. he didn't do that spinebuster he does now. he didn't do the sharpshooter, even big show (if we got a giant dlc) he didn't do the WMD, Kevin nash didn't do the knock out punch or chokeslam in wcw whereas he did it in WWF as diesel. i could go on and on.  Sting didn't do the deathdrop when he was surfer sting.

he was in as special referee for the Slaughter/Adnan/Mustafa - Hogan/Warrior Match in the Path of the Warrior DLC Showcase in 2k15.  I thought for sure he was in one of those games. i played Mayhem more than i played BSA even though i didn't like either so i could be mistaken.

and yeah Marcus was decent when he first came in back around SVR2010 but by the time SVR11 came out he turned into a complete asshole saying that the reason the moves were removed in that game and the corner and running moves were reduced to 1 slot instead of the usual 4 in the corner and 2 running/irish whip was because they looked outdated. then when he came back in 2k15 his excuse for all the matchtypes and stuff that was removed was that they were building a foundation. okay i can spin a little with that but the fact that Elimination style Extreme rules matches were locked. and playable in my career pretty much called him out on that. plus he didn't even know that Regal was in current gen 2k15. so after that i just ceased to care. 2k/THQ has always had bad community managers. from Marcus, to Aubrey, To Jared Back to Marcus and Now Vore.  honestly i like vore the most cause atleast he doesn't tell lies.
