Tried removing the monochrome effect for Hollywood Hogan via Data Editor but now the Theme just plays double time?

I wanted to do some previews for an arena but remove Hogan's monochrome effect. So I switched his moveset file to none in the advanced settings but now when he comes out it's still monochrome and the theme music plays twice overlapping each other a few secs off. Anyway to fix that?

I get the overlapping music glitch just randomly with different superstars who have advanced entrances, comes and go's with each entrance. Still haven't figured out how to remove the monochrome effect myself either and would also love to know.

yeah that was the first time that i've experienced that with the music... i figured changing everything to NONE in Data Editor would fix it, but it doesn't, so if anyone can help with that, it'll be cool

The only way is to either disable the entranced or wait until he has ripped his shirt and the screen turns back to full colour.

However as you say it happens even when you change the entrance then that sounds really odd, I will take a look at it and see if I can pin point what file is being called to force the monochrome effect.

Btw did you get my fixed Hogans pack? I think it slipped under the radar, it has the boa with full physics enabled, no more stiff boa.

Edit : Tested with a couple of entrance animations other than Hollywood Hogans and found it wouldn't call the monochrome effect, I am not sure why yours is calling for it regardless of the animation you choose :blink:

i didn't change anything with his animations, i just removed the filter on his moveset file in data editor and injected it back. I think I did download that yesterday when I was trying, and when I was in CAE, he'd come out in a tank and some jeans, then in ring he'd have the boa on, take the boa off, and rip the shirt properly but his boots weren't visible. I didn't have attires unlocked for him to try other attires but yeah it still stayed black and white for his entrance.

Ah the reason is the monochrome effect is actually attached to his entrance animation not his titantron or anything else.

Just change his entrance animation temporarily if you need to check something in full colour, this is also why he suddenly has his boa and shirt, they are props attached to the animation file.

do I do that in game or via data editor? advance or easy? because in game his stuff shows but it all says adam rose

do it in data editor, if you open it in the creations suite it will default to Adam Rose because his entrance animation is force added and not part of the actual default game, its just as quick with data editor too tbh.

it didn't work.. i removed all the monochrome effects that were shown in advanced editor.. i changed his intro animation to triple H but it still goes back to the black and white

I'd advise backing up your current Hollywood Hogan ch and the moveset and pofo then download the one I packaged to test.

Use this moveset and pofo and just change his entrance animation to The Rock and report back, I've a feeling someone has attached the call for the monochrome to something in his entrance attire file.

Don't forget to inject from the menu screen then save.

ok.. I just changed the regular 413 to the Rock.. No edits with advanced entrance, and he came out boa, nwo tee w glasses to the rock's animations, no monochrome and moviestar music theme which i just so happen to use for voodoo child

There you go, oh and the reason it was movie star is because I use that for voodoo child too :p

Now if you have other attires just ensure you apply the theme and titantrons to all attires in Data Editor and you should be good to go, change back to 413 when you want to use Hogans entrance animation again, there is no way to avoid the monochrome other than to skip before it happens or wait until he rips his shirt for it to change back to colour.

The problem with using the other anims is you would be stuck with the red and yellow shirts for the animation files, unless you change them which means you would have the Hollywood Hogan shirt (and boa if you use modern Hogan) for their entrance too.

109 = Hulk Hogan (modern)

111 = Hulk Hogan (modern DLC) ??? not sure of the difference between this and the one above

412 = Hulk Hogan (classic)
