Right. That's the key word there. "Think." In the sense that you're "thinking" the eccentric scenario I have painted is testing the endless bounds of limits that we were once swimming in a decade or two ago, but are now faltering because of regression. You can keep thinking. I encourage you to in fact. But, once you leap and become blindly subservient, you approach a dangerous line of denial. 

By accepting these types of business practices, bending over and taking "one for the team," by asking, "Thank you sir. May I have another?" you allow yourself to be taken advantage of. Sure, we've already been exposed to foreplay. These guys were teasing us before with their exclusivities and celebrity pre-orders. Fine. But, to sit there and deny that they've already moved to third base by exempting guys that should've already been on the roster (or at the very least bundled in the package for the season pass to begin with) and mistaking it for "overreacting" is capitalism sticking a big foot in your ass and you pretending it's giving you a colonscopy.

I hate to be using Audrey's frivolous tactics of rebuttal but, I only use it as a form of tribute in the sense that you blatantly shunning and not acknowledging that something is going on is just as bad. Sure, we can as Cerberus would put it, "agree to disagree." But, does that really solve anything? Ignoring that this is occurring holds true to create a more toxic environment in which essentially everyone is indirectly drinking from the sap and those who weren't before will conform. Why? Because we've tricked ourselves into thinking that they're the givers and inadvertently become disillusioned ourselves. Of course, the logical debate to the argument would be, "Well, Sunny. Hey, buddy. Settle down. Games are cheaper than they used to be. Were you waiting in lines for games of Genesis, Neo-Geo, or Saturn to release? No. Well, then shut the fuck up." Granted, you can say that we've allowed ourselves to become spoiled because of the baseline $50 price-tag and therefore, associate that price to every other price then on that will get released. 2K could charge 120 bucks for all their base games and no fucks would be given. No problem. 

But, here's the catch here and this is the beauty in all this because we're speaking on a niche market that we are for the most part, aware of. No matter what the bullshit is, the ends does not justify the means, hence the inflated scenario aforementioned. There is no excuse for extracting content that should have been included with the package to begin with and selling it "as a means to make profit" because our marketing department is unable to do a bang up job and we need to cover the expenses somehow for our  high-tech scanning technology. Would you expect to buy shoelaces, vamps, outsoles, and welts for an added cost when you're buying from a recognized retail shoe brand? It should be included with the "package." In fact, there is no package to begin with because that is a part of the shoe. 

But, when what should have been included without there ever being a shadow of a doubt, it is unethical in the finest degree of the word, because it's deceiving the consumer. But, right. All the power to our independent entrepreneurs gurus who will stop at nothing to defend this business model. "2K, we're right by your side! Who needs the customer?! The casuals will eat this up like a fat kid at the county fair." Classic case of Stockholm Syndrome being extended  to consumer dynamics.

@jeff how is the ps360 gameplay garbage? it wasn't garbage when there was no ps4 or 360? smh.. anyway I get it for both ps4 and 360(use to be to mod but since thats dying out curious to see if they make it hackeable on the consoles this year). I like both styles and so do the other people that obviously still buy the console versions or they wouldn't put one out.

It's garbage cause no one wants or needs a speedy gonzalas version of a wrestling game.  and really you gonna waste 60 bucks on last gen. i played 2k15 on last gen ps3 and the graphics were horrible, the speed was still way too fast, there's no pacing or anything wwe12 had the best pacing, the best universe mode etc. I am only interested in sim style. not arcade. if i wanted arcade style i'd just play smackdown 2. not meant to be rude but i'm not even interested in a hackable game. i've ran that course from 12 -14 and while it was fun soft modding the game with Hacker-T's awesome editors over the years, i just can't see myself going back to that. Most people are saying the future is now, 360/ps3 has run it's course. last geners are lucky they are even getting a game this year. again i don't mean any of this to be rude at all.

If you're willing to pay more for the collector's edition then I don't see what's wrong with getting early access to some exclusive content.

You're not paying $100 for early access to DLC. You're paying $60 for the full game and have the option of paying an additional $40 for DLC plus some other exclusive bonus content.

If you only want the DLC then buy the regular game for $60 and a code from eBay.

no actually I wasn't.  I was making the argument that If last gen was gonna get access to it on day one that current gen should have as well.  I was going to get them eventually. i'm not even crying over the fact it's not included in the pass like most people are. it's a valid point but that doesn't bother me much. tbf, since the DDE was 90, add to that you get the kickstart and season pass included, the nxt enhancement will probably be 10 bucks, there's your 100$ nxt collection without all the memorabilia right there. I do way too much traveling to need a statue of finn or a piece of a ring or a naka signed card.  it's cool for those that want that and I never knocked those that did. it was more to do with 2k letting last gen have access to something day one and making current gen users, you know those that paid 400 bucks for a brand new console.

 

some of us got that console before 2k15 released. only to be told that owners of last gen systems can get access to said dlc on day 1. albeit they have to still pay for it.  I think that really was my only concern.

 

it's not that I don't like nakamura, I just don't know much about him.  I get he's highly favorable, and all and king of strong style but jesus Christ his stiffness is worse than van dams was when he first got to wwe. I like the stiffness but I have a feeling they (wwe) will make him reduce it some. especially when it comes to head strikes

I didn't say I did. but I can tell when something is stiff.. AKA Tajiri, Van Dam to name a few. not to mention while people will argue this... the kick that ended bret's career. all those were stiff.
